Cursive

"Alrighty then everyone now I'm going to write this terms groups on the board. These will be the group you will have for group projects, group class work and if any excursions happen, you will also be with these groups"

Most of the class sighed but some people were excited because all they heard was "excursions"

"Wyatt can you come up here and write the groups on the board. Thank you"

Wyatt was that one kid that the teacher always picked on and got them to either write stuff on the board, get papers from the printing room or stay back and help tidy the class

Wyatt sighed and mumbled a couple of swears under his breath so only the people around him could hear

"What was that?" The teacher said crossing her arms

"Nothing. Nothing" Wyatt raised his hands in defense and swiped the marker off the teachers desk and a couple of kids who heard what he said giggled

"Group one.."

Wyatt began writing the names on the board when he got to an in particular name which made him nervous to spell

He froze staring at the whiteboard trying to remember how it spelt

He knew it was spelt differently to how other people spelt it but he couldn't remember how different

"I said Jaeden lieberher" the teacher spoke louder and some one the class giggled

Wyatt was so pressured he didn't have anymore time to think and wrote

"Jaden L." He took a step back and looked at it he knew it didn't look right

"There's another "e"" Wyatt knew who corrected him and he felt very guilty for spelling it wrong. He remember now how to spelt it and where the other e went and cringed at how he spelt it

But before he could fix it Jaeden grabbed the marker out of his hand and fixed it himself

He wrote in neat cursive writing which was much better looking then the scribble Wyatt was writing in

Wyatt blushed as Jaeden handing him back the marker but he didn't let go

They both stood there holding the marker together staring at each other

"Don't worry about it, it happens a lot"

Wyatt snapped out of it a nodded quickly

"R-right sorry.. can I have the marker back now" they both looked down at the hands touching and jaeden let go and smiled

"Thank you Jaeden. Ok after Jaeden is you Wyatt" the teacher picked up the sheet with names and started reading it again

Wyatt swallowed hard and shakily wrote his name under jaeden's as he thought about everything he would be doing with Jaeden this term

After he finished he looked at his name and realised he wrote his name is cursive too

"Ok enough with the fancy writing please just write them normal now"

Wyatt nodded and finished off the groups

When he sat back down he looked at the board and noticed only jaeden's and his name was in cursive, right in the middle

This made him smile and glance at Jaeden who was smiling at the two names in cursive in the middle of everyone else
