Jennifer's POV

He then looked at me but I'm starting to feel tears building in my eyes and so I let go of his hand and ran outside. I didn't care if everyones here are watching me. I just couldn't help it but to release my tears outside. I ran and ran through the hallway and thankfully no ones around here. I just want to go away from those people..

Until I reach this door and I opened it and I realized that it's the building's rooftop. There's a beautiful garden as the city lights are everywhere and the wind gives me chills that made my heart stopped from beating so rapidly.

I wiped my tears using my hand as I walk through the garden. I remember my Mother suddenly..., flowers were one of her favorites too and I couldn't help it but to be reminded those times when we used to take care of the flowers we planted almost every day...

I really miss her...

My tears streamed down my face as my gaze landed on this bench. I cleaned first the bench before I sat down and I took a deep breath. I looked up and saw so many stars above that are shimmering. They're so beautiful.

I wiped my tears and just watch them and then...

A white hanky appeared from my side. I looked up to check who it was and it's Alex..

"Alex! You're here!" I said but my face is still full of tears and I know I just ruined my make up but I don't mind about it anymore

Alex is standing there and he's wearing a silver colored of tailored suit.

"Why are you here? The party isn't yet over" I said

"I got bored...and just decided to follow you." He said as I looked at him

"I saw you ran away and you were crying and so I followed you..here take this." He offered me his hanky and I slowly get it from him. He then sat beside me and I wiped my face and blew my nose to it till I'm done.

"Thank You." I said as I was about to give back to him cause it seemed expensive cloth

"Oh no..." He raised both of his hands and chuckles

"You better take it. It's yours now.." He said

I smiled at him

"Thank You, Alex.." I said with my teary eyes

I heard him took a deep breath

"So you're the girlfriend of Harry that everybody have been talking about....that's why his mood got changed when he saw us together outside the clinic..."

"Oh please...forget about it. He is just bipolar... bossy and so rude. He thinks he can control anyone under his command well not me. I'm just right here cause..., he needed somebody to cover him...but honestly, I'm not even his girlfriend. I'm just personal maid..."

"Oh I know.." He said. I looked at him as I widen my eyes

"What?"

He chuckles

"I mean., I knew from the start that you're not his girlfriend." He said smiling like almost chuckling and there's something behind those like it's very impossible and only miracle can

"Oh sh*t of course. Who wants to be the monster's girlfriend? He is nothing but hard and mean to anyone.."

Alex just smiled as he looked away

"No Jennifer...Harry is not like that. I know my own friend. He looked rude, hard, very serious but it doesn't mean he's that kind of that guy. Come on, I've known him for almost a decade and let me tell you, he is very nice guy and he isn't hard and mean. It's just his defense mechanism cause of what happened to his past love.."
