"He shot him, he shot my son." Rick whimpered, burying his head in his large hands.
My heart started pounding vigerously, my hands balling into fists.
How was he shot!? Where is he!?
I walked over to Maggie, trying not to yell at her.
"Where's Carl?"
"In the room over there, but you can't go in right now, daddy's saving his life." She explained,
"How did this happen?" I asked meekly, lowering my head to the ground.
"Otis saw a deer, and shot it, but he also hit the boy."
Tears formed in my eyes, but I don't let the fall. My head was spinning. anger and sadness ripped trough me, making me drop to my knees.
"He's just a little boy!" I cried, burying my head in my small, pale hands.
"I have faith daddy will help him." She cooed, hugging me as she helped me to my feet.
I hugged her tighly. I leave, and something like this happens. I can't help but feel guilty; like I pulled the trigger myself. Rick must feel horrible.
"Can't imagine what Rick is feeling right now." I frowned,
"With someone like you around, I have a feeling he'd feel alot better." She smiled.
I nodded and walked over to Rick, not saying a word. I placed my soft , small hand on his hand. He looked up at me, pain written in his eyes. I felt his pain. We stayed looking at each other, and he seemed to calm down slightly. I just hope everything's okay with Carl, he has to make it. For Rick.
