Dev's POV

Today was my first day to my new school. The morning session of classes went well, with usual introduction session and more details about the school, subjects , rules etc..

During the lunch time when i was on my way to the canteen, someone poked me on my shoulder i turned back to see Vicky - my new friend. He asked me whether he can also join him for the lunch , i just nodded my head and we started walking to the canteen while he stopped to appreciate the girls in the school.. to which I just rolled my eyes and continued walking to the canteen.

We sat at one of the empty table and took the orders, while having my lunch Vicky pointed out a girl sitting alone at the corner of the canteen and having her lunch, Vicky was talking continuously about something may be about the girl but I was lost in her dark brown orbs which had a spark in it. I noticed the tear formed at the corner of her eyes, she wiped it and continued having her food. Then I remembered she is from the same class of mine.., a small smile crept on my lips...  while admiring her beauty ..... her eyes....her pointed nose...her long black hair.. i was completely lost in her.

I was back on earth when Vicky called my name loudly almost audible to everyone in the canteen.

Vicky asked me about the opinion of dating the girl who is sitting at the corner of the canteen..Where i was just tongue tied and just smiled at him. I don't know why but i was angry when he asked me about dating her..

To change the topic I asked him about his previous school, his favourite sports etc..After the conversation with him I came to an conclusion that he is one of the rich spoilt young man who likes to enjoy his life, flirt with girls and break their hearts..

When I was in my class I noticed the same girl chatting with some other girl..I just brushed out the thoughts and continued my work..and the rest of the day went very well.

Dev noticed the same girl the next few days and came to know that her   name is  Sonakshi Bose, and also some other details of Sona like her home, family etc..and all these credits goes to Vicky who stalked Sona after the school as he wants to date Sona.

Dev wished to have a talk with Sona but whenever he is about to talk some problem will arise from somewhere..

One day when Dev came to his class he saw Vicky chatting with Sonakshi,  from the face of Sona, Dev came to know that She just wants to run from there..as she is bored. But Vicky is continuously praising himself to get the attention of Sona.

Dev felt jealous while seeing Vicky talking to Sona and also felt sad for Sona as Vicky is self praising himself to which she is just smiling and continuously nodding her head.

Dev made his way to Vicky who is talking to Sona, and asked Vicky to join him as he need his help in some work but Vicky neglected his words and continued his job.

But Dev was also stubborn he didn't moved an inch...He said a Hai to Sona in between and She said the same and smiled at him..and they just introduced themselves..

Then Dev dragged Vicky from there..by pulling his collar. When he looked back at Sona she thanked him silently and smiled at him..Where as Dev also smiled back and disappeared from the class. She felt so peaceful and started to read some book that she had just got from library.
