Finally the day has came...the day, Dev and Sonakshi is going to be Devakshi forever...mehandi and Sangeeth went very well...the only person who was sad during their Sangeeth night was Riya...who cannot dance due to her fractured hand and some unhealed wounds..other than that all other functions went very smoothly..

Sonakshi's house was decorated with flowers and fairy lights....and the mandap was made with pink and white roses... near to their garden...which is spacious enough to seat all the guests for the wedding...

Sonakshi was getting ready when she heard her phone ringing..."I think Dev is very eager to see you... he is video calling you...Sona..." Nia teased Sona...."Nia,..don't answer it.."
Sona almost jumped from her chair...to get her phone from Nia..who was about to press the green button on the phone...
Where Elena made an angry face when she saw her dear sister jumping in between her wedding makeup..

"What are you thinking Sona...it's your wedding in few hours and here you are jumping and chasing your friend ...Sona...come and sit...please " Elena.. screamed..which made Sona to stop in the middle of her chasing and asked Nia to not attend the phone...to which Nia just nodded and gives back Sona's phone...

Sona was all dressed up like a traditional Bengali bride.... the saree, jewels and everything made her look like a goddess..Sonakshi immediately took a picture of her face which is covered with her hands in a such a way that only her bangles are clearly seen ..and sends it to Dev...

On the other hand...Dev thought about calling Sona again but he then dropped his idea as he thought she will be getting ready as she is not answering his call...he was getting ready in his gold and maroon sherwani...when he saw a message on his mobile screen...his smile grew wider when he saw the name on the screen....it was from his Sona...his friend, his love and soon..to be his wife in few hours...he opened the message to only see her bangles...

Dev sends a sad emoji as his reply... immediately...indicating his disappointment...

Be patient pati Dev 😉 Sona replies and smiled..thinking about Dev...and how their life is going to be from the next day..no..I few hours.

A smile formed on Dev's lips seeing Sona's message...and recalled the old memories with her...he came back from his train of thoughts, when he hears knocks on his door..."Dev beta...it's almost time to leave...open the door.." Ishwari screamed from the other side of the door..Dev opens the door with a wide smile on his face.... Ishwari stood in front of Dev.. without saying anything and admired her son...who is now standing in front of her..all ready in his golden and maroon sherwani.., her eyes welled up seeing her son...Dev immediately hugs his mother when he saw his mother..she admired her son and puts kaala teeka behind his ear..."are you ready..beta??? I think we should leave soon..." Ishwari said to her son..."Haan maa...just give me few minutes" Dev said and runs back to see himself in the mirror..."Okay then we will be waiting for you at downstairs...come soon.." Ishwari says and leaves...

As Ishwari leaves from the room...Riya enters Dev's room...when Dev saw his sister entering his room..he showed his hand saying her stop where she is now..."Look..Riya!!.I know you are here to tease me...but I am not in a mood right now..." Dev said adjusting his hair... "no bhaiya..you have mistaken..I am here to wish you..but you..you always thinks wrong.. Poor me..." Riya wipes her fake tears... dramatically... "Drama queen.." Dev says.. and nods his head...And Riya's teasing session continued untill they leaves to Sonakshi's house..

On the other hand Sonakshi's parents are having tough time..even though they are happy that Dev is going to be their son in law..but it's hard for them to accept the fact that their daughter is really going to get married...she is still a little girl for them... Sonakshi's mother's eyes brimmed with tears of happiness, when she saw her daughter in the bridal look..

When the baraat arrived, Sonakshi's family rushed downstairs to welcome Dev and his family. Sonakshi's heart raced, she even felt that her heart will come out of the rib cage at any time..
She started to walk to and fro  inside the room, where her friends tried to control her tension..

After sometime Sonakshi heard her mother's voice asking her to come down to the mandap. She stepped down through the stairs..along with Anjali and Nia, who were standing on both sides of Sona. Sona's hands were sweaty and cold..she raised her eyes to meet his brown ones which were already gawking at her..and is clearly visible that his jaw is now hitting the floor. A giggle escaped from her mouth seeing Dev.

In the mandap...the priest first asked them to exchange the garlands, Dev bents his head very easily infront of Sonakshi... then Bijoy was asked to do the kanyadhan...he took Sonakshi's hand and gave her hand to dev..that was an emotional moment for Bijoy, then Dev tied the mangalsutra on Sonakshi's neck .. followed by, dev applied the Vermillion on the partition of Sonakshi's head.. Sona closed her eyes while Dev puts the sindoor.. and the priest instructed to do the  the saath pheras... finally Sona became Mrs.Sonakshi Dev Dixit.

All the guests gathered there applauded for the new couples...

Sonakshi and Dev took the blessings of their parents and other elders..

Their family and friends gathered there came to congratulate and showered them with gifts and blessings...and all they can see is happy faces surrounding them...

After the long time finally the moment has arrived, Sonakshi's vidhai...Elena cried hugging Sona..where her brother also hugged her...she didn't see any tears in her brother's eyes..but she knows her brother is expert in hiding them...

Sona moved to her parents...Bijoy lost his words in front of her daughter. He didn't said any words..he moved his hand through her hair and asked dev to take care of her daughter..
Sona hugged her mother and cried..Dev squeezed Sona's hand and tried to console her.." take care of our daughter...Dev..."that's what Sona's mother managed to say after a long time. To which Dev nods his head...it was an emotional moment for him too...he also got tears in his eyes..seeing his Sona crying...
