As the days passed Dev's and Sona's friendship became more strong..Dev was there when Sona needs him...To cheer her , to help her, to motivate her. Dev helped her to bring confidence in her and made her strong..She came out of the nut shell and starts to enjoy her life.

On the other hand Dev had became famous in the school, girls followed him to get attention from him. In the school election Dev was selected as the head boy. As Sona and Dev are intelligent students they never failed to get good marks in exams.

Dev and Sona had their conversations while they are in bus or they will meet at some places..they avoided crowd..They talk rarely in school..Dev even avoided Sona sometimes..and that is because whenever Dev gets friendly with a girl, she will be  rumoured as Dev's girl friend and the whole school will get the news ..which not only effected Dev but also the girl too..He doesn't want Sona to face all these..for him she is always special.

Dev and Sona became partners in projects and assignments..that made Dev to visit Sona's home or either Sona visits Dev's. Ishwari is now considering Sona as her own daughter. And same with Asha..Dev is more like her own son..who is completely opposite to Sourabh.

Whenever Dev comes to Sona's house Elena will start her teasing session that ended up in the embarrassed state of Sona.

One day Dev invited Sona and her family for Riya's birthday celebration..due to some reasons Sona's mother and father was unable to attend the party..So Sona asked Elena to accompany her for the birthday party which is at Dev's house which Elena accepted it happily..When they reached the venue they were happily welcomed by Ishwari.

Dev's house was beautifully decorated with fairy lights, flowers, and balloons which is pink and white in colour. Ishwari asked Sona and Riya to join Riya who is getting ready in her bedroom..As said by Ishwari they ascends the staircase to Riya's room.

As the time passed everyone gathered in the hall for cake cutting..But Dev was no where to be seen ..

Sona's POV

There are many people's around me..Who seems to be Dev's relatives , Dev's family friends and Dev's and Riya's friends. But i cannot see him..Where is he??? My eyes are continuously searching for him..without leaving any corners., But i failed..me and Elena is now sitting at a corner I don't know from where Dev suddenly appeared in front of me...He looked as handsome as always.. but the sight in front me broke my heart into millions of pieces ..One girl clings on Dev's arm....Dev introduces her to us..From him I came to know that her name is Natasha Gujral, daughter of one of the famous business man. And she is Dev's childhood friend, She was not interested in hearing our names or about us she dragged Dev from the place..and he disappeared.

I don't know why...I felt jealous seeing them close..I had decided to leave the party and before leaving ...me and Elena met Riya ..wished her again..and after that met Ishwari aunty..they both told us to stay for a little longer but i denied them saying that it's already late and we have to be in our home by this time. They didn't compelled us again..I didn't said Dev about leaving as he was too busy with Natasha ...talking and giggling..I didn't bothered to disturb them. I left the place with Elena with a heavy heart.

Why did you lied to Ishwari aunty and Riya that we have to leave early??Elena asked Sona in more confused tone..Sona didn't answers her and continued walking towards their home..Elena holds her arms and stopped her and asked what's wrong with you Sona??? What is wrong with me ...See am all okay..Can't you see..Sona replied sarcastically. You are not okay Sona..you are disturbed...tell me ..Elena didn't leave her..

I don't like Dev with that Natasha Gujral ..Elena you saw them right ..they are having fun together. Dev didn't even leave her for a second..they were talking and laughing continuously..he didn't even bothered to have a look at his guests..Can't he see that his friends were also present in the party..NO..He is busy with his childhood friend..Sona said these words almost in a single breathe and in a frustrated state.

Elena is now blinking her eyes and her mouth is wide open forming a perfect "O" shape. She didn't saw  Sona like this .. Elena was silent for few seconds and later bursts into laughter..that made Sona to stomp her feet and started walking as fast as possible leaving a laughing Elena at back..Elena runs to reach Sona..

Elena didn't said a word to Sona on their way to their home..They reached their home after 10 minutes of walk from Dev's house..When they reached their home..Elena dragged Sona to their room and locked the door from inside ..Elena can see that Sona is still angry.. a smile played on Elena's lips..So my dear sister is jealous..am i right?? Elena questioned Sonakshi..Sona knew that she is jealous seeing Dev and Natasha together but she is not ready to accept it in front of Elena. Then why are you angry?? Elena asked Sona..he didn't had time for his guests..he was enjoying with Natasha..how can someone avoid their guests.?? Sona told in a sad tone..Elena knows what Sona is going through but she wants to hear it from Sona ..So my sister is sad because he didn't spend his time with his guests..or  NOT YOU?? Sona lowered her head in embarrassment And bite her tongue..

Do you know Sona ..Jealousy is the first symptom of a disease called LOVE.. you are in love Sona..You are in love with Dev..accept it. Elena started jumping on the floor..No..Sona told immediately..yes Elena replied her immediately..they continued their YES and NO for few minutes later Sona said...I think YES..am in love with Dev..Sona said with a shy smile on her lips..her cheeks turned to a bright shade of pink ..Seeing her blushing Elena starts teasing her..Sona lowered her head and tried to avoid Elena.

I will inform this news to Sourabh Dada now..Saying so Elena runs towards the door.. Sona runs behind Elena to catch her..But Elena escapes through the door.. Sona close her doors as she is not ready to face Sourabh's teasing session..

She thought about Dev..She thought about their first meeting..The way he helped her , the way he fought with Vicky..etc...The thought itself made butterflies in her stomach..She decides to confess her feelings to Dev...But she is afraid..She doesn't know whether he have the same to her..She is confused.....later she tried to sleep but she had a sleepless night thinking about Dev.
