Chapter 2 - Why Is She Cold ?

Luke's POV

I woke up when I heard some cooking in the kitchen. It smelled like Toast with Vegemite and, Hotdog ... when I came down, I saw Ashton cooking , Michael sleeping while seated on the dining table and no sign of Calum.. Me and the boys are living in one house now ... we all just love to be with each other .. Calum and Michael are my best friends since like when we were born. Lol .. Ashton ? well He's like my brother.

"Mornin' love" Ashton said in his morning voice .

"Love? " I asked , Ashton giggles.. "Where's calum?" then calum jumped out behind the couch then surprised me then my hair bursted into fire then went back to normal again very fast, triggering a water device in case of fire (something like that) making Michael shot awake..

"Calum what the f*ck! you know what happens when I get surprised !"

Ashton and Calum laughed then laughed more at Michael .... Then somehow I joined .. LOL

"WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE LIKE THAT?! DAMN IT!"

we all laughed harder at Michael ....

"Screw you all!" Michael shouted then walked out to take a bath...

we ate then I took a hot bath cuz water makes me weak right?..I wore  black skinny jeans, White shirt with a smiley at the middle, and black vans .. Ash wears a sweater and skinnies , Calum wore a plain white shirt then jeans and a beanie then Michael wearing a tank top, black skinnies an his purple hair ...

While me and Ashton waited for Mikey and cal outside , I played with my powers then placed fire on my hands I threw it in the air shooting another fire at it then when I hit it, the fire bursted blue flame then faded away ...

"Sh*t man that's so cool!" Ashton said. "Another one!"

then I made a medium sized ring of fire in front of me then placed a ball of fire in the middle then shoots blue flame making the ball turn into blue flame also then mix with the ring of fire then finally fades ...

Ashton was like an amazed child clapping ... then I tried making a fire in mid air without it coming out from my hands .. I just heated a center in front of me and somehow make a fire out of the gathered heat ...

Ashton backed up a little cuz it's getting hot and I'm finally making a small fire ... then calum surprised me again then my hair bursted into flames then back to normal again .. the fire I'm making grew when I was shocked then I dropped it on the ground ...

"THIS IS THE SECOND TIME FOR TODAY CALUM!" I said then calum and Michael laughed while we walk to school .. Me and Ashton are the newbies to the school ... calum and Michael transferred here last year..

when we were walking towards the school, I saw a girl holding her friends wrist then hearing the other girl said "Whoah Em. that is cold" ... We walked pass her then a cold breeze came to me . I think it came from her? The guys seemed to not feel the sudden breeze I felt..

when I was with Michael Looking for my locker , a girl bumped into me... She's the breeze girl outside earlier! when she bumped into me, I felt something like when I get closer to cold things ....

"Oh my gosh miss I'm very sorry .. I'm just new here... I'm really sorry"

"Nah It's okay I'm new here too"

I reached my hand to help her up, not a little longer, our hands smoked!.. It hurts ! She got up and I backed up a little .. she too..

"Sh*t what happened?!" she said...

"I don't know ?!.... Oh my God"

"Okay sorry for that.. I'm Emerald "

"Luke"

we shaked hands then It smoked again... anyway we were shocked but then we said 'see ya later's then I found my locker. It was just across hers ?! ..... just when I found my locker, the bell rang .. the two of us are the only students here.

"I guess I'm late to Science now." she spoke

"yeah me too - wait what? "

"let's just not go to it ... I hate getting embarrassed .."

"yeah"

then we sat near our lockers which is at the opposite side only... we talked then I found out we both have the same classes together Except Science ... then she said she'll just arrange her things first then she turned around covering her Locker...

.....

"Wait what?! Ice?" I was shocked when she move a bit letting me see what she's doing ...

"WHAT?! YOU SAW IT?! FUUUUUUU*K!!!!" she ran to me then covered my mouth saying "please please please please don't tell anyone pleaseee"

I removed her hand off my face .. "Ouch"

"I didn't press my hand hard on your face man!"

"no you don't understand .... back up a little.."

she did so then I show to her my powers ...

"WHAT?!?!?!?"

"ohhhhhh yeah. We're opposites."

"please don't tell anyone" I asked

"okay.. but how can we be friends if we're opposites? we can't stay long near each other?"

"IDK but we could be like Best friends ..we'll understand each other cuz we both have powers..."

"Okay. best friends . but -

the bell rang. I need to go to class ..

"let's talk during lunch okay! byea!"

"okay bye!"

so ... luke's hot in this story. literally. LOL

opposites ? but best friends ? how?

yeah just wait for the time that they'll be more than friends then plot twists... lol
