Chapter 12: Big surprise?

Diana

" aahh!!!" Akko screams as she comes tumbling forward. If I could have a check every time Akko tripped I'd be a billionaire. With quick reflexes I stop her from falling by holding her up in my arms.
" heh thanks Diana." Akko laughs and sorts herself out.
" why are you so energetic anyway Akko? " I ask her.
Her jaw drops.
" You forgot already?! Today is the day we're going to tell everyone your mine." She kisses my cheek.
My heart sinks. I remember now...*gulp* I love Akko and I know its the right thing to do. I just...I'm scared to tell everyone this, after all our friends I'll have to tell my auntie and cousins... And then Akko's family.
What if the fact that we're both girls daring one another makes them feel sick? Seeing people stare at Akko and I in disgust is...is terrible!

" I'm a bit worried Akko... What if things don't go well?" I tell her.
" heh... If they don't then we both know that we'll still have each other! I'm pretty sure if I lose all my friends today I'd be happy that I get a lover like you for the rest of my life. "
I bring her into a warm hug.
" you really know how to make someone feel special Akko. " I say to her squeezing her tighter.
" ak! You're k-killing me Diana." She breathes out. " heh, sorry I don't know my own strength." I say to her giggling nervously.

" Diana.. Can I publicly announce that I'm dating you? " Akko asks me.
I shake my head.
" you really want people to know don't you,* huff* I guess you might as well... Everyone is going to find our eventually. But there's one rule, don't you dare and I mean it Akko, don't you dare fall over when you tell everyone." I tell her strictly.
" hahaha I won't I promise are you jealous because I keep on falling but not for you?" She jokes with me. I scowl at her.
" ha ha very funny it's because I don't like people laughing at you because you did something silly. "
" awww thanks Diana best girlfriend ever goes to you!" She messes around and points straight at me.

Akko

I have everything planned out.... Mwahhahaha!
I have a microphone, speaker and my wonderful voice so everything is going well.
I am going to publicly announce pur relationship in the courtyard and hopefully everyone's going to be loving... If not I'll use my magic to teach them a lesson for not shipping Diakko!
Oh! I should send a message to everyone telling them to be at the courtyard.

Message

' Hiya guys, be at the courtyard like...now! There's something very, very,very,very,very,very big going on! Honestly I wouldn't miss it for the world🌎
Don't show up I'll fucking kill you💗 love ya! '

And send. Heh I hope this goes well.
" Diana you're coming on stage with me okay, I need you for something." I tell her.
"Okay then, oh Akko let me hold your hand." Diana reaches for my hand, I let her hold it. As we walk towards the courtyard we get a few stares but who cares.
We arrive and I can already see the guys near a tree.
" okay this is the moment."
I magically plug in the speaker and connect my microphone.
" testing,testing 1 2 3" I say and my voice booms out of the speakers. Everyone turns there heads to face me.

" wow this is scary, anyway." I stop and gulp. All eyes are on me, Diana rests her hand on my shoulder.
" let's do this Akko. " she whispers to me.
" um... I would like to tell everyone that is here that..... I am...I am.."
"SPIT IT OUT ALREADY!" Amanda shouts at me.
I scowl at her.
" okay! I am DATING DIANA CAVENDISH! I AM DEEPLY IN LOVE WITH HER SHE'S MINE SO BACK OFF!"  I shout out almost deafening people.
The whole crowd let's out gasps.
I look over to Lotte and everyone and they're all in shock.
" It is true, I am Akko's girlfriend and I am very happy." Diana says shyly speaking into the microphone.
"What if this is just a joke, why would Diana date someone like Akko? Or better than that why would she be going out with a girl?!" Someone from the audience shouts

Murmurs can be heard through out the crowed.
" If this was a joke I wouldn't do this!"
I take Diana's hands and hold them.
" kiss me Diana." I tell her. She blushes and leans in to kiss me.
Our lips meet and I can hear more gasps. I don't care, this moment is perfect. So what if people end up hating me, so what? I love Diana and that's all that matters.
I pull her into a deeper kiss and wrap my arms around the back of her neck. If I'm going to declare my love for her, I'm gonna do it right.
We both pull away panting.
The whole crowd is silent until I hear a clap. Diana and I both look over to see constance. She's there smiling and clapping happily. Slowly an eruption of claps occur. People are smiling and shouting  good things.
I take ahold of Diana's hand.
" I told you this would work out babe." I say to Diana.
She raises and eyebrow and smirks.
" did you just call me babe?." She giggles.
" I sure did honey. " I joke with her.
She shakes her head.
" silly little girl." She tells me.
" Oh if I'm a silly little girl I guess I can't progress this relationship any further... That means you'll never get to see me naked." I say laughing.
Diana's face darkens.
" w-why w-would you even say that! I- I don't want to see you naked well I do B-but not now ugh Akko..." She sighs covering her face. I kiss her cheek.

" What's going on here!" Professor Holbrooke asks.
She looks at Diana and I and then our holding hands and possibly Diana's red face. She saw the little cheek kiss didn't she.
" um... We'll be at your office in five." I say.
" you bet you will." Professor Holbrooke tells us both.
" busted..." I laugh to Diana.
" my first time getting into trouble, all because of this amazing love.."
