My name is Finley O'brien-Moss. Weird name, I know. My parents are rather eccentric people, and that tends to show in everything. Although, my mom has toned it down in the last few years since my dad left. He told my mom one day that things just weren't the same anymore, that he didn't love her the same way. So he offered to move out and get a divorce so that he didn't hurt my mom even more by pretending to be in love with her. They still talk all the time, and I see him on the weekends. But it's been weird going from house to house; which happen to be on opposite sides of town. We live in a, let's call it medium-sized, town called Arnam. It's nothing too special. We have a decent number of schools, a couple public libraries; the normal city stuff. Arnam is also the home of the Arnam Ravens. They're the local hockey team, made up of boys 17-19 years old. There are a few who are a little older but they're all in their final season with our team. They've all been drafted into the NHL by now, but the ones who are left are only just now able to leave town.
Now, on to something other than our town's pride and joy. The story of my extremely awkward, highly embarrassing, attempt at a social high school career.
