Alex POV
I could barely see the doors over the crowd of singing, screeching girls.
"Chloe, I know your sister turns everyone one. But your the one I want..."
The crowd chanted over and over.
Natalie and Alex were staring at the group of girls who were trying to change the song to UV Blues.
"They know whats up." Alex said with a laugh.
The girls finished the song and whispers went around that the meet and greet was starting.
"Is your name Alex?" The girl standing behind us asked me.
"Me? Oh, ya, do I know you?" I asked her
"No, I don't think so anyway. My name is Alivia. You dated Keaton didn't you?" I felt my face turning red.
"Excuse me, that's personal." Natalie told her and tried to stop the conversation.
"I'm sorry, I know its an odd question. It's just my cousin lives in California and saw you to at the beach holding hands. She sent me a picture." My eyes grew wide and I forced the conversation to end.
"What are you doing out here anyways? He dated you, right? Must have dumped her." A evil voice said but whispered the last part to her friend.
"May I ask your name?" I glared at her
"You may. Sally." She stuck her hand out expecting me to take it. I stared at her hand and she put it down.
"I am here to see them perform just like you so please stay out of my personal business and don't judge what you don't understand." I spat back at her. "I'm going to go take a walk. I'll be back." I told Alex and Natalie before I walked away and walked further down the street.
My arms, legs, ears, and head was hurting from already watching the show for two hours. My boys were up there, doing what they loved. I was in the crowd having fun with my best friends. It was a perfect night. The girls that spoke to me before the concert glanced over and stared at me every other song it seemed like.
They performed XO for their second to last song and each boy looked at me when they sang especially Keaton.
It reminded me of our conversation at the coffee shop. I had a big decision to make. If I stay, I continue my life with Natalie and Alex and plant my feet here and produce a great life. If I leave, I ditch Natalie and Alex and try to pick up the pieces back in California and see where my life with Keaton goes. In other words, staying in New York, I continue. Going to California, I pick up pieces.
I have no idea what I'm going to do.
They were half way through Sunset Blvd when I got out of my own head. The concert had ended and they had said their final goodbyes when a security guard came to take me backstage. He offered for all three of us to come but Natalie and Alex said that I should just go.
I was shot by a hundred nerf bullets when I opened the door of the dressing room. "Stop! Stop!" I yelled at them but of course they continue. Drew ran to me when he ran out of bullets and picked me up to only end up throwing me on the couch. "How did you know it was me?" I asked them after we had all caught our breath from laughing.
"We didn't!" Shrugged Wes "Thats why it was fun."
Conversation went as usual like things did when we were all in California.
"We have something for you..." Wes and Drew said at the same time getting something behind a dressing room couch.
"What? Why?" I ask them.
"Duhhhh, it's our anniversary! We met last year. Exactly last year, you saved us from screaming fans and we will always be grateful." Keats said with a wink.
A longboard with a big red bow on it rolled toward my feet. With my mouth open wide, they explained why they got me the gift. We talked for another twenty minutes before I got a text from Alex:
So I know you are having like a family reunion and such and I hate to break up the love but its 11:30 so.....
I laughed and forced myself to leave.
I got a group hug and almost started crying
"I love you boys." I gave each if the guys a peck on the cheek and got in the car with Natalie and Alex.
