Chapter 13- Day with the Guys

The next morning I woke up to 13 messages from the boys. Keaton sent 7 messages that said:

1. WAKE UP!

2. Are u ready to hang out with your favorite person in the world?

3. ^Obviously me!

4. ;]

5. Wake up!

6. WASTING DAYLIGHT!

7. :] Come on! We want to skate!

I laughed at all of them. Wes sent a 2 message that said:

1. LETS SKATE!;)

2. I bet Keaton sent more...;)

Drew sent 4 messages that said:

1. Whaddup Sleepy Head!

2. How are you doing this fine morning?

3. The sun is shining and the birds are chirping!

4. I wanna skate!

I had a sense that they were waiting to go skate. I threw a bunch of pillows at Sammy to try to get her up. We both got up and were ready in five minutes. We had our all black converse high tops on, shirts with our bikinis underneath, and shorts.
I texted Keaton and told him that we would meet them on the pier. It was an equal skating distance from my house to the beach and the Stromberg's house to the beach. Sammy and I took our short cut and arrived a little earlier than the boys did. I didn't even see them come up and then all of a sudden Sammy and I were being lifted up and spun around by Wes and Drew. We both laughed and gave them hugs.
Keaton fake coughed and said, "Forgetting someone?"
I smiled and walked over to him and gave him a big long hug and responded "I could never forget about you!" He laughed.
"What's the plan and where are we going?" Sammy asked.
"Let's skate around here. Just roam around."
We got on our skate boards and rode for what seemed like the longest time ever. Keaton and I talked while we rode next to each other. After an hour of hanging out at the beach, we decided to go to the skate park. As we arrived we realized that we were the only ones there so Drew called for a skate contest.
Keaton said that he wanted to sit out and be the judge.
"You're on! Just don't be upset when Sammy and I beat you!" I agreed to the contest.
Drew laughed and quickly brushed that comment aside. "Wes and I have this in the bag! We are totally gonna win this!" Drew high fived Wes. Sammy began and by the time she was finished Drew, Wes, and Keaton were speechless.
"Sammy and I just won." I joked.
Wes and Drew rolled their eyes. Keaton made a face that said "Of course."
