She shivers, tries to understand
When did she allow herself to fall again?
Dark.
Yes, it was so dark
In the depths of her lonely mind
Always searching for a spark
She couldn't see what a firework laid inside
Warm.
Oh, it felt so warm
When finally a flame lit
A flame that kept her safe from the madness around it
Cold.
Why is she so cold?
She burned down as fast as a match
The light went off, but she still tries
Maybe one day she'll close her eyes
