    I rubbed my belly as it was fairly small for having been five months pregnant.

    The doctor had said it's normal for every women's baby bump to be different so they weren't worried about it.

     I looked in the mirror, smiling at it and thinking how happy we'd all be. Tom came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist and placing his hands on my belly. "How's our little girl?"

     Tom insists it's a girl but I think it'll be a boy. We both agreed we wanted it to be a surprise but we were itching to know.

    "Baby boy," I emphasized, turning around to face him. He placed his hands on my cheeks pulling me inward, kissing me gently.

    "I love you, and our little family," he said as he leaned his head against mine.

     "I'm going to the store do you need anything?" I asked looking up at him.

     "Get some skittles." He winked and walked out the bedroom. I quickly grabbed my bag and keys and headed out the door.

~~~
    I walked the candy isle holding a basket while looking for sour Skittles. I found the Skittles but there was one problem, I was to short to reach them. I stood on my tip toes reaching up for them but it was no use. I tried one last time before a hand reached in front of me grabbing them and handing them over. I looked up turning pale as I saw a very familiar face.
    "Here you are," He stated half smiling. My facial expression stayed blank.
     "Thank you, Todd." I gulped and tucked some loose hair behind my ear. He looked down at my belly eyes widening a bit and nodding.
    "Tom's I assume?" He pointed.
     "Congratulations Millie, that's really great. My girlfriend Lottie and I just recently had a baby girl." It took a moment to process the words that came out of his mouth.
    "Girlfriend? Y'all had a baby?" He smiled and nodded, shoving his hands in his pockets.
    "Yeah, we're pretty happy. What about yours? Is it a boy or a girl?"
     I guess it had been a while since I was with Todd, almost a year and a half. "Uh, we don't know. We want it to be a surprise. Listen Todd, why so chipper? Especially with what happened."
    He sighed and rubbed his neck chuckling. "Look, about that, it was a long while ago and I feel pretty bad about that situation."
     I nodded looking down at my feet. "Yeah, it was a bad situation."
    He tossed his hands up and leaned back a bit. "It happened, and there is nothing we can do except move on. I'm greatly sorry for what I did to you and Tom. I really mean it Millie."
     I looked at him and I could tell he meant it from the heart. "It's okay, Todd. It's not really me you should be apologizing too."
    He nodded, looking at his shoes.
    "You know what, you and your girlfriend should come over tonight. You can apologize to Tom and we can start patching things up. Maybe you can be back on our security team, and maybe you can be our friend again too."
    He smiled and nodded. "Yeah! That- that really sounds great."
    I quickly gave him my address and told him to be at our house at 5:30. We said our goodbyes and parted ways. Now all I had to do was figure out how to tell Tom without him freaking out.
~~~

    "What?! Why the bloody effing hell would you do that?!"

    Okay, so he freaked out. Tom was currently running his hands through his hair and pacing in front of me. I sat at the edge of bed with my head in my hands.

    "Tom please, he wants to apologize. He already apologized to me and it really did look sincere."

    Tom scoffed and looked at me. "Sincere my ass."

     I stood up walking to stand in front of him. "Listen Tom, you're going to sit through this dinner whether you like it or not. He will apologize and you will accept it." I stomped out walking downstairs to prepare dinner.

    A couple minutes later, Tom walked downstairs frowning. "Millie I- I'm sorry..." he trailed off.

     I sat down the knife and cucumber I was cutting and walked over to where he was standing. "It's okay, Tom. I understand why you'd be upset."

    He hugged me tightly resisting his face in the crook of my neck. I closed my eyes as I took in the smell of his cologne. I loved how sincere he was to me. "I love you Millie," he mumbled.

    I smiled to myself as we stood there still hugging. "I love you too Tom."

~~~
    Tom was currently drinking a beer, tapping his foot and intensely zoning out. There was a knock at the door and Tom's head snapped up. He looked at me and his face was pale. I motioned for him to go to the door as Ella and I followed behind.
    "Todd!" Ella yelled, running to hug him as soon as I opened the door.
    "Hey Ella. How are you?" He smiled at her giving her a high five.
     "I'm great." She smiled back.
    "Come on in." I stepped aside, letting them in. Tom shook Todd's hand as they awkwardly looked at each other.
     "Uh this is my girlfriend Lottie, and this," he paused, and picked up a small baby holding it and bringing it forward. "This is Bailee."
     I cooed at the small child, I even saw Tom smile a little bit.
    "She's so cute," Ella commented.
    "Thank you, she's almost three weeks old," stated Todd, smiling at us. I showed everyone to the dining room as we got ready to eat.
~~~

*Tom's pov*

    After dinner everyone sat around making small talk except for me. I sat staring at my beer in hand.

     "Hey Tom, could I talk to you outside for a minute?" Todd asked. I looked at Millie then to Todd. He grabbed a beer and motioned for me to follow him outside. "Listen, I just want to apologize man. What happened between me and Millie was fucked up and never should have happened. It was a stupid and immature thing of me to do. I also want to apologize for fighting you and insulting you as well. Tom we've been friends for what, almost seven years. I've been your body guard ever since your fame started. You're like a younger brother to me. I really hope we can move past and be mates again."

     I smiled sadly looking down at my shoes. "Todd, it's going to take time but I am willing to try." I stuck out my hand and he shook it. he smiled at me lifting his beer.

    "Cheers mate." And with that we drank to our old, but new, friendship.
