News
- To keep everyone from having to reread any stories, I may from time to time have to ask a member to submit a new story to the club. I'll try to let you know ahead of time so you can either write something new or pick out a different story you've already published. If you don't have another story to submit, I may have to exclude you from assignments until you can submit something. Hopefully, we'll get some new members soon so this won't happen too often.
- On a (hopefully) more fun note, soon I'm going to try to open a contest to the public (and club members too), but I'd like your input on what I'm planning before I do it. It will be a separate book from the club where I'll challenge people to write new short stories based on prompts and there will be a new contest each month. I was thinking the prize would be that the club would read and comment on the winning entry, basically using it as a book of the month. I figured this is a good way to connect the contest to the club and possibly attract new members.
Does this sound like something you guys would be willing to add to your plate? It shouldn't be too difficult if it's just one story a month. Let me know what you think.
