"Nova, Armani! Come get your stuff, your Papa is waiting for you!" I called out to my six year old twins.

They're fraternal, Armani got my looks and Nova has her father looks. They are my children from a past relationship. Me and their dad tried to make it work but it couldn't happen. He was an upcoming actor and I was just a college girl. My two youngest daughters Lori and Auriel chased after them.
"Wait! You forgot to give your sissy's some sugar!" I stopped them. Three year old Lorain hugged Nova and 1 year old Auriel hugged Armani.
Lorain and Auriel are my husband's , Algee and I children. Algee has been my best friend since high school, I knew he had feelings for me but I just waited for him to say it. It wasn't until I got with my kid's father, Quincy, in college that I realized Algee wasn't going to say anything. Throughout my crazy relationship with Quincy, Algee finally said something and luckily for him our relationship was ending but then I got pregnant with the twins. Algee was still there and was a second father to Nova and Armani while Quincy did his thing. When the twins were two Quincy decided to step up and now we're co-parenting.
"Mommy, where's dad?" Armani asked. They call Algee dad and Quincy Papa since Algee was there when they started saying "dada" so it was only right for him to get the title.
"He should be coming home any minute now but you'll be spending time with Quincy this weekend!" Nova tugged at my pants "Momma, do you know papa gives us ice cream before dinner!?" Nova was the tattletale of them all and loved getting someone in trouble. She didn't care who it was. I smirked "Oh really?" She smiled and nodded while dragging her suitcase out the door. I held Armani back "Watch your sister..."
Obviously you can tell who's the good and bad child of the two. I sighed when Quincy signaled for me to come outside. I picked up Auriel and held Lorain's hand as I walked about the door. I can't leave toddlers by themselves in a big ass house.
"What you want?" I asked. Lorain ran to Quincy "Quinny!" Quincy turned around from getting the girls settled in their seats and picked up Lori "Thunderstorm!" He tickled her. "BOOM!" Her eyes widened and she puffed up her cheeks. Quincy always calls her that since rain is apart of her name.
"Stop calling my child that." "Well she likes it!" Quincy put Lorain on the ground and she ran back to me. "So, what's this about giving the twins Ice cream before dinner?" I tilted my head to the side as Quincy playfully glared at Nova "That's not true!" "Oh-" "I give it to them for dinner." I rolled my eyes "No wonder they be little monsters when they come back! You put them on sugar rush then send them to me." He squeezed his eyes shut and shrugged "You caught meee!" I laughed and pushed him.
Even though Quincy and I ended in a very messy way, we put our differences aside for the girls and we actually formed a friendship.
"You ready to play with Uncle Justin?" Quincy asked them. Armani smiled and clapped while Nova pouted which made Quincy sigh "And yes Nova, Uncle Christian is going to be there too." Nova cheered. They each have they favorite uncle that they connect with. Armani and Justin the mature ones while Nova and Christian cause Mischief together.
"Have fun and Quincy don't kill my babies!" I pointed an acrylic nail at him. He nodded and rolled his eyes, "I know, I know damn!" He mumbled. "I'M SERIOUS QUINCY BROWN!" I screamed as the car pulled off.
Ten minutes later, Algee entered the house. "WHERE MY GIRLS AT!?" "RIGHT HERE DADDY!" Lorain and I called out. Algee walked in the kitchen to see us making cookies. He reached in the bowl of dough before I popped his hand "Go wash your hands before you stick your fingers in things you nasty!" I scrunched up my nose. "You don't be complaining when I be sticking my fingers in-" "Shut up!" I quickly covered Lorian's ears. Algee doesn't care about what he says around people, young or old.
"Wait a minute... I'm missing three more!" Algee looked around. "That's because Quincy picked up the twins and Auriel is upstairs sleeping, don't go bothe-" before I could finish my sentence he was already upstairs. I heard crying and mentally slapped him. He's always waking her up from her nap. Algee came downstairs with Auriel sucking her thumb and fresh tears still on her face.
"You know I need my side kick with me!" I groaned. "You're putting her back to sleep, you know that right?" Algee got behind me "I'm gonna put you to sleep!" He rubbed his erection on my ass. I pushed him off and put the cookies in the oven. Turning around, I grabbed Auriel from him "Give me her, and go handle yourself! Don't forget to wash your hands either!" Algee sighed "Whatever! And I'm gonna call the twins too. They left me with the Grinch." He looked me up and down then rolled his eyes "I'm not even in the mood anymore." He stomped upstairs. I waited for the bedroom door to close.
"IT'S OKAY, DON'T ASK FOR ANY LATER ON TONIGHT!" "NOOOOO" He whined.
I giggled at my husband when I realized I was raising five kids instead of four. ______________________________________ I had to add mydaddy Quincy into the mix. But not only is this book justgoing to be about your kids with Algee but also different scenarios dealing with kids in general. Hoped youguys liked it and maybe Nova and Armani will be in more future imagines.
