Next Morning

"TIME FOR BREAKFAST!" Y/n called out. Algee damn near fell down the stairs and Lorain slid down on her butt "Go dad, you're fuc-messing up the rotation!" She caught herself when she got looks from her parents "Yeah, okay. Watch the mouth." While setting up the table, the family realized they were missing one. "AURIEL COME AND EAT!" it was silent. Y/n and Algee looked at each other "AURIEL!" Lorain looked at Algee "How about you stop yelling and go get her." Algee looked at his daughter "How about since you got so much mouth, you get her." Lorain shrugged "I appreciate my limbs-" "Yeah and you won't have none in a minute, keep it up!" Y/n glared. Algee sat back amused.

Lorain knocked on the door "Get up stinky." It was silent. Lorain turned the doorknob only to see it was locked. She knocked again "Look I know you're upset about last night, but you're worrying us. Open the door." Algee appeared "She still not answering?" Lorain shook her head "The door is locked." Algee tried to open it and got irritated "Auriel, you know how I feel about locked doors!"

Algee constantly knocked "Auriel you have 3 seconds to open this door, or I'm kicking this shit down. 1...2..." Before he could do anything y/n walked past him with a hairpin "Here." He looked at her "I don't know what to do with that!" She rolled her eyes and picked it yourself "Easy." Algee and Lorain looked at her "What you been doi- nevermind." Y/n opened the door and it was empty.  The bed was still messy and everything else was untouched. She looked at the window and seen it was open. Fearing the worst y/n checked the closet and seen some clothes was missing. "Oh my God, Algee she's gone!" Algee cursed and rubbed his hand over his face "Fuck you mean she's gone?!" "I MEAN SHE'S NOT HERE! MY BABY IS GONE!" Y/n was crying while Algee phoned the guys.

"Damn, G. We'll find her man." Y/n looked at Keith with bloodshot eyes "What if we don't? W-what if someth-" Algee glared at you "Don't say that, y/n" she turned to him. "What?" "You always thinking the fucking worse, we should be finding our daughter not wishing bad-" "WHO THE FUCK SAID I WAS WISHING SOMETHING BAD ON HER? ALGEE YOU PISSING ME OFF RIGHT NOW!" "Well stop saying we might not find her. It's your fault anyways!" She stood up and slapped him "SO IT'S MY FAULT? ALGEE YOU'RE THE ONE WHO PUNISHED HER!" "Stop screaming, you're the only one doing it." Algee was so calm about the whole situation, it was like he didn't care. But Algee was calm because of his wife and daughter. It was bad enough you were everywhere and Lori couldn't stop panicking, he had to be the calm one. It was the scary calm though, like he could snap any...minute.

"BECAUSE ALGEE, IM FUCKING-" "DAMN Y/N SHUT THE FUCK UP-" "BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP!" Everyone turned to Lorian with shocked faces. "This is what Auriel was talking about. No one pays attention to her, she's the one missing but of course, the problem switched off of her to you." Lorian stormed out the house with Algee following her "Lori get back here! Auriel is missing, we don't need you gone too!" She kept walking. While the family was breaking apart, Lori would go to a special place to get her mind right.

The ice cream parlor.

She is cool with the owner, so when she walked in she already knew what was up, "Lori, baby what's happening now?" Delores was her name and she was the sweetest vanilla lady you'll meet. Lori sighed and shook her head "The usual?" She just nodded. Lori got her ice cream and tapped the table for Delores to sit down "I knew you'll start talking, once you got some sugar in ya!" She winked. Lori shook her head "It's no laughing matter Miss D. You know my little sister?" Delores squinted her eyes "Ariel? The little 'brat' who irks your nerves?" "Auriel, but yes, her." Lori chuckled "Well she's been feeling down lately but my family haven't been paying attention to her. Everything went wrong when my parents told us, they were expecting again. She said some things, got in trouble, and when we woke up she was gone."

"As in..." "Missing. My parents got into an argument and the first place I came was here." Delores looked down. Lori stared at her "Is there something wrong?" "Do you have a picture of her?" Lori nodded and went through her phone. She seen multiple calls and messages from everyone but she ignored them and continued to her gallery. She showed Delores the insta story from last night. She received a disappointed look "Seems like she was just expressing herself. Like you do, every time you're here." "She shouldn't have ran away-" "You shouldn't be so judgmental. She's right, you have been walking around like life owes you something and you forgot about the people around you." Lori shook her head "Miss D, you're suppose to be helping me." "I am sweetie. By not telling you what you want to hear, you're graduating high school but you're about to be a newbie in adulthood and baby, it's too hard to sugar coat the problems you're going to have." Lori got quiet while taking in the information. She's too old to be acting like a spoiled brat while Auriel just wanted her family to see things from her point of view.

Lori got an incoming call from Luke and rolled her eyes "Yes Unc?" She heard her mother screaming 'Auriel' and Lori's heart dropped thinking something was wrong. Luke chuckling calmed her nerves though, "Your sister's back if you haven't guessed." Lori quickly ended the call and looked at Delores "They found her!" Delores nodded "That's great, but think about what I said." Delores patted Lori's hand and went to check on more customers.

Back at the house Auriel was sitting down, getting questioned by almost everyone;
"What the fuck was going through your head, girl?"
"Why did you leave?"
"Where did you go?"
"So you forgot your parents crazy, huh?"

Auriel looked down and played with her fingers. She knew running away wasn't going to solve anything, only get her in more trouble but she wanted to teach her family a lesson since they didn't appreciate her. Blocking out their voices, she looked up when she heard the door open. Auriel rolled her eyes when she seen it was Lorain. "Can I go to my room now?" Auriel said quietly. Y/n looked at her for a second "Yeah, we're still not finished with you." Auriel chuckled "Great."

The guys left the house and Lorain wanted to talk to her parents. "I know you guys were worried about her, but I think punishing her isn't going to help. In fact it's only going to anger her more and prove her point that we don't listen to her." Algee shook his head "Running away only made our trust in her-" "Well whooping her for every little thing is going to make her hate you growing up. She can't even express her feelings without you thinking she's coming for your heads." Algee looked at y/n and back at Lori, "Where did these words of wisdom come from?" Lori smirked "A friend." Walking to her room she heard y/n  say "Don't think you're free from yelling and walking away from us earlier!"

Auriel laid back on her bed cursing under her breath until she heard a knock on her door. She quickly turned around to pretend like she was sleeping but it was too late, "We know you're not sleep." Algee chuckled as she sighed and got up. "Am I in trouble again?" Y/n shook her head "You should be. But you're not, we just wanna talk to you." Algee pulled up a chair while you sat next to Auriel. "Was it because you got in trouble or because we didn't listen to you?" Auriel pursed her lips "Both. You didn't listen to me and dropped that you're having another baby, without asking how Lori and I felt. Then I got in trouble for expressing how I feel. It's not fair that Lorian can do whatever but I always have to be the black sheep when it comes to things."

She started crying and y/n hugged her.  You and Algee always tried to be equal to your kids but when one is more outspoken than the other it's hard keeping both happy. "I'm sorry, that we haven't been thinking of your feelings but running away wasn't the best choice. You scared us and your mom and I even got into an argument." Algee sat back "We love you even if we don't show it but this baby is going to be a lot of work and we don't need tantrums being thrown out of nowhere because being a middle child is hard." Y/n got up "You're free this time but don't ever do this again."

Y/n and Algee left the room and looked at each other "We actually caused our daughter to run away." She said not believing it. "Does that make us bad parents?" Algee asked. It was silent before they shook their heads.

"Naaah"
