Fires have always been meant to burn out, but the scars and marks they leave always remain.

Fires cause pain and destruction, yet they cultivate fields and bring life to new places.

Fires can't be contained yet people keep them in their homes.

Fires are dangerous but the warmth they provide always draw people towards them.

Fires burn skin and leave trails of black ash, they take away homes and separate families.

Fires bring light and celebration, they draw people together and bring back families.

Fires have always been meant to burn out, but they petals of ash behind.

You are like a fire, uncontrollable, beautiful, and strong.

The air you create brings tears to my eyes and lifts my balloons.

You can take apart everything and at the same time, bring everyone together.

Even when you're gone, the memory of you is still etched into my mind.

You bring light into my world, and without it, I can barely see into the night.

You are created by the breath of mythical dragons, the symbol of danger.

But humans ignore it and bring you with them everywhere.

Greeks used you as a symbol of family.

People put you on candles atop birthday cakes.

You are like a fire, warm, loving, angry, dangerous, magical, and gentle.

You, my dear, are a wildfire.
And I love you with all my heart.
