I SIGHED, LEANING MY HEAD AGAINST THE WINDOW OF THE MOVING VEHICLE. I looked up to see the sun rising from the horizon. Finally I see the sign.
‘Gravity Falls’
“I'm finally here...” I mumble under my breath. I looked around to see no passengers on board. I mean, no one knows about this place. It's not even under the radar of NASA or somethin'. Once the bus stop came into view, I see a mop of (H/C) hair.
“Last stop, Gravity Falls” the driver said. I pick up my luggage also my ukulele. I walked down the steps of the bus. Cool air blowing my face. “(N/N)!” I looked towards the sound, suddenly I was engulfed in a hug and my feet lifted off the floor.
“I miss you too Bro” I said. Chuckling at my Brother's action. Finally he puts me down getting my luggage, walking towards his car. He put my luggage inside his trunk. “Welcome to Gravity Falls sis. You're gonna love it here. And you'll get to meet my friends.”
“Wow you have friends.” I said. He rolled his eyes. “Yeah, unlike you.” he said. “Ouch, that hurts bro. Why'd you do that?” I said with a fake pained expression on my face, putting my hand on top of my chest. He looked back at me and flicked my forehead. “You're too dramatic.” he said. I rub my forehead, galring at him playfully. He chuckled, going inside the car. I sighed, walking towards the passengers seat.
I opened the door getting inside. He turn on the engine, getting off the road. He turned on the radio. “So, how's mom and dad?” He asked. “Oh, they're doing fine. Just busy on their works.” I said, looking outside the window. Finally I see the town of Gravity Falls. Some people walking on the street. Then we went to a path that's going up the mountain. Then a big two story pale blue house standing on the cliff side of the mountain. The gates opened once his car got near the house. On the left side of the lot have a sakura tree with grass as the floor, and a chair swing with a canopy. And wooden table with attatched chairs like every picnic tables in the park.
Then on the right side contains a basketball court, and a swimming pool a few feet beside it. And a small red car beside the court. “Oh yeah, that's your car for the time being.” my brother said, pointing his thumb at the car. “Really? You shouldn't have bro!” I said, smiling deviously at him. He just looked me at the corner of his eyes, rolling it.
He parked his car in the garage. “So, this is your place?” I asked. “Yup, I get to see the town from here.” he got out after he opened the trunk. I got out at the same time bringing my ukulele with me. “Welcome to my humble abode!” he said, opening the mahogany doors. My eyes widdn in surprise to see ghe interior design of his house.
“What the absolute f—”
“Language” my brother said. He put my luggage by the stairs that's going up the second floor. The living room consisted a huge window showing the sun rising and the small town below. And the walls are colored light grey. And a soft grey couch shaped like a ‘U’ with glass coffee table. And 50' inch TV facing the couch. He walked towards the kitchen that is also grey as the living room. He throw his keys on the marble counter. “Nice house. Totally digging it.” I said. “Well, thanks your brother who took engineering and home designs.”
“Yeah, its really beautiful actually.” I said. My eyes trailing every part of the house. I sat on the tall stool infront of the counter. Placing my ukulele on top of the counter. A bowl of fruits catch my eyes. “Hey bro, are these fake?” I asked, as i point at the bowl. He turned around, and shook his head. “Nah, they're real. If you wanna get one it's fine.”
I took a green apple from the bowl munching on it. The sourness resting in on my tongue, then the sweetness start to form. “Mmm, this is good.” I said. “Yup, I got it from the market down there.” he said. Walking towards the stairs. “C'mon, I'll show you your room.”
I got up, bringing the ukulele and the apple. I walked up the staires and stared at the tall windows. Outside is the forest, birds flying above it. I looked away, walking up the stairs again. I looked on the left to see a door opened on the end of the hall. I walked down the hallway to the room.
“And this is your room.” he said. I looked around (look around look around— okay I'll stop.). The roof was shaped as triangle, but the room wasn't small. The floor is made out of wood, but there's a large grey carpet laying there. The walls were painted white. A frabic like swing hanging near the balcony. A white queen bed that is sided on the wall. It has grey and white pillows on the end. A white blanket has some grey puff balls. Then light bulbs are hanging around the room and some fairy lights.
Two tall clear like boxes, the one is on the bedside that has a lamp. The other is on the edge of the bed and near the swing that has some books on top. A large white desk that is near the balcony. Has a cup full of pencils And pens. It also has another lamp that have a cartoonish cat face. On the right side of the desk has a monitor and a white wireless keyboard and mouse. Then a shelf is hovering above the desk. Some books and a printer on top. Then two side drawers that are under the table.
Then two white doors that seem to be the closet. Then a vanity that is beside the door. “Wow... I'm getting the aesthetic vibe here.” I said. “I knew you're gonna say that.” he said, ruffling my hair. “Since you're stuck with me. Why not decorate.”
“Thanks bro!” I exclaimed. “Ah, don't mention it. It was nothin', anyways I'll leave you to unpack. When you're done, just come down to eat some breakfast.” He said walking out the door closing it. I sighed looking around the room again. Then my door is opened again by my brother. “Oh yeah, Your boxes will arrive tomorrow.” he said, finally closing the door.
