Aquaman x Fear reader pt2

You felt Arthur's gaze... You felt his hands lace with yours as you say with your legs dangling off of a cliff, the sea crashing against the cliff like it was calling up to you...
It was magical. For you being here with Arthur was the greatest thing you could've asked for... You both were the best of friends but you. You had a lingering passion in your heart for Arthur that swelled up every time you saw him...
"Arthur I have something to tell you." You mumbled letting his hand go... Arthur looked at you with a smile and nodded crossing his legs facing you. His golden hair shading his crystal blue eyes that stared into your (E/C) eyes.
"Go ahead. I promise not to judge or get mad..." Arthur said with a small grin across his face, you tucked a strand of your (H/L) (H/C) hair behind your ear and took a deep breath.
"I-I... I really like you! In like a romantic way! I just didn't want to ruin what we had as friends but if I didn't tell you someone would take you!" You spluttered, you wet red and watched as Arthur's face instantly changed dramatically, his smile drooping to become a pout, his brow furrowing and making you bite your lip as he abruptly stood up and looked at you.
"I... I'm incredibly sorry but... I cannot allow myself to love you... From how our families act around each other for us being friends we would outrage them by saying were committed to a relationship." Arthur retorted, a gulp flowed down his throat but something caught in yours and you began to let small streams of tears scroll down your face, Arthur looked at you with slight anger and you just looked at him like a kicked puppy...
"You- You said you wouldn't get mad or judge me! A-and I would of thought that we-"
"No (F/N)! There is a you and there is a me! Never an us! I'm sorry but...,' Arthur took your hands and smiled,' We can still be friends ok?"
But you wouldn't accept that as an answer... The thought of Arthur judging you and being mad at you for your feelings crippled you... It made you feel betrayed almost...
You writhed your hands free from his grasp and started to walk away... And he let you without a word.
And after two years on the night you confessed you came back to that cliff, the moon shining against the water and the waves still crashing but not talking... Yelling and screaming at you. And you decided to listen and get close by jumping...

You immediately awoke and gasped, your heart pounding within your chest hitting your rib cage in a fast beating motion...
A small fraction of you wanted the dream to end with Arthur holding you in his arms surrounded by roses and love but no... Today you were going to invade Atlantis.... His choice on what he wished to do about it....

Arthur's POV

I could feel it. The dark decrypt day of a war between my greatest friend in which I drove to suicide with my selfish actions. "What's wrong Arthur? There's nothing to worry about! We have our armies set up and if she and scarecrow come to battle we will be ready." Clark said to be dusting off the S on his chest as he drifted Into my main hall.
I just watched as a whale chased a cluster of fish and I gulped nodding, not long back to face him.... Seeing him on the glass was enough.
"Her name is (F/N) Clark... It's (F/N)..." I retorted, he cleared his throat and nodded drifting towards me as placing a hand on my shoulder.
"Past is past Arthur. You and Mera are happy and there would be no need for you to halt your relationship." Clark said, I sighed and shrugged his hand away...
"Mera never like (F/N) because she was so much like me... But when I married Mera and I saw (F/N) she was so crushed... So destroyed and Mera just smiled... Smiling like it was all she could do." I mumbled disheartened, I heard Clark begin to talk but something blasted through my door forcing me a Clark to abruptly run out of curiosity.
"Your armies are weak,' (F/N) said as she strutted in with her Arkam army as her da in his fear form,' Ah! You have Clark? And what about Bruce?"

Your POV

I smiled and giggled looking at my dad as he threw an unconscious Bruce ad he rolled making a groaning sound. Clark flew up an lasers ripped from his eyes and I raised my hand my palm facing him as I blocked the Lasers with a shield as I rolled my eyes.
"Gentlemen please! I will pay for the door and I will make sure to make your death quick." You said, you pointed and your Army flooded past you to attack. Of course being the nosey git's they are re rest of the cronies popped out.
Wonder Woman, Green arrow and even some of the young justice league...
"Aww you bought the babies too?" Your dad rasped tormenting the crew, you laughed and took hold of M'gann as she went to hurl a statue at you, she gasped and choked but Connors fist hit your ace ad you fell, he went to crush you but your dad hooked him and he screamed in pain. You caught eyes with Arthur and growled glaring at him. You slammed him through the glass that kept the water out and water began to flood the palace.
Mera jumped in and grabbed Arthur and blocked the glass and then looked at you.
"You just couldn't leave well enough alone could you? You just had to come and attack?,' she ten smirked and glared at you hard,' Shame Arthur isn't in love with you..."
You screamed and clawed at her slamming her hard to the ground, you watched as your army fought and managed to distract the leagues dragging them out of the room.
Arthur grabbed you to stop you and you let him hold your shoulders. You felt as if you were a kid again... Him holding you to calm you down.
"I'm sorry I... I'm so confused and angry! It's so lonely..." You cried feeling warm tears fall from your (E/C) eyes and scroll down your cold cheeks. Arthur held you into an embrace and patted your back.
"No I'm sorry... I shouldn't of done that to you." Arthur said, you slightly pushed him and but before you could speak another word you felt something impaled you, you gasped and choked before shakily looking down to see a golden spear pass through your gut and winced and hissed in pain as it was pulled out of your body.
Arthur just stared in horror as you then dropped to the floor, he fell to his knees and held your limp body as you looked at him gripping his arm.
"MERA! WHY?!" He yelled enraged, she just looked at you holding the spear proudly, you weakly smiled and blinked slowly. You saw them... The rest of the league enter the room and look down at you.
"I'm... Im glad I met you Arthur. Because- because now I can die knowing you only chose Mera because you were protecting your people. I can respect... That... Thank you..." You mumbled before closing your eyes forever...
