Clara's POV

Emma landed right on top of me. "Oof!"

"Sorry," she muttered as she climbed off of me.

"Where are we?" I asked.

"I'll hazard a guess in some sort of tunnel or catacombs," Emma answered, examining the walls.

"Catacombs? Like, where they buried dead people?" I did not like the fact there might be dead bodies.

"Yeah, those," Emma muttered. "Who was that that shoved us in?"

"I don't know," I said nervously, turning in a complete circle, then stepping back as the Doctor stumbled into the hole. Emma roughly pulled him to his feet as she asked worriedly, "Where's Crystal?"

"They took her," the Doctor explained quietly as he rubbed his back where he fell. "I'm sorry, Emma. I tried to stop them, but they shoved me too. I'm not sure of the plan. I think only you and I were suppose to be in here. The problem is, you stumbled into Clara. I heard them talking about it up there. They really don't care that they were in the presence of a ten-year old; I figured that from the language," he added, looking up at where the entrance was. It was closed.

"It doesn't matter," Emma said. "Especially when she's been in my presence."

"That's... delightful," I said.

"It's Emma," the Doctor said.

Emma's POV

"When are we gonna get out?" I had to ask.

"Emma, be patient," the Doctor said impatiently.

"Patient is outside my abilities," I replied a smirk.

"I agree with Emma," Clara said. "We've been in here for- what? Four hours?"

The Doctor didn't answer. Instead, a rumbling noise greeted us. "What the hell is that?" Clara asked worriedly.

"I think it's lunchtime," I joked.

"Emma, this is serious," the Doctor said. I turned around to find where the rumbling came from. Suddenly I froze. "Emma, what is it?" the Doctor asked. I pointed with a shaky finger. " The- the-oh my god, the ceiling's caving in!"

"Run," the Doctor advised. He didn't have to tell us twice. We turned and sprinted as fast as we could. Far ahead of us was a light.

I reached the light first. I climbed out into streaming light. Then I reached back to pull out the Doctor. "It's bright."

But I didn't hear him. Instead, I was focused on the destruction in front of us, a crack going straight through the hotel. And when I say crack, I mean it caved in. Completely. The hotel slightly sank into it, but at least it wasn't damaged. I approached the door above threw it open.

I was met by a terrible sight. A young black- hair girl was pointed a gun at Crystal's trembling body. The girl was wearing a black lace dress. I felt like I had seen that dress somewhere before...

Then the girl turned. Her skin was as pale as china... no, she was made of china. I recognized her easily. Rosetta. My throat stuck, and I froze. I couldn't do any but watch that china finger pull the trigger...

And shoot Crystal straight in the left heart.

Author's note

I'm really sorry if this is super-duper short, but I've been writing on my phone and it honestly looks longer on here, especially since they don't give you the amount of words you've written. So I'm dreadfully sorry about this, but I'll make the next chapter longer. I promise.

Oh, and I have a question. I'm thinking about doing a "song list" (I got the idea off of Whovian27's book, Traveling). A song list, if you don't know what it is, is basically a list of songs that best represent a character. Should I go for it?

If so, what should I do for Emma? "Dynamite" by Tao Cruz (don't think I got the first name right) or The Plankton Fun Song (you know, F is for fire that burns down the town)?
