           'Hi Bree, Charlotte.'  Josh said as he walked in.
             
        'Hi Josh.' Charlotte and I answered absentmindedly, we were both watching frozen for the fifth time and it was still as interesting as the first time we watched it.

            'You girls have got to be kidding me, you are watching this movie again.'   He said as he sat down on the couch opposite us and joined us to watch the movie.

           Thirty minutes later, I removed the DVD and put it back inside it's case.

           'I really hate that price Hans,' I started 'he looks like a monkey with all that facial hair.'

             'And I love christoff,' Charlotte added 'But he is really disgusting, I mean who eats a carrot dripping with saliva from a Donkey's mouth.'   she finished and settled back on the couch with a trow pillow between her legs.

           'it's a reindeer char, not a donkey,  I've corrected you too many times already.'

         'Em... Duh,  reindeer, donkey, horse or even a camel, it's still as disgusting.' she concluded leaving no room for agurement.

           'where's Abby?' Josh asked no one in particular.

          'Am right here.' Abby answered walking in with a bowl of popcorn. 'Hi guys'
          'Hi'
          
         'Hey'

           'Sup'

   'So,  how about another movie?' Josh suggested

          'What do you have in mind?'Charlotte asked.
       
            'How about insurgence? I asked trying to find a more comfortable sitting position.
       
         'Insurgence it is then since no one has a better idea.' Charlotte said and stood up to get the DVD.

              Three hours, five bowls of popcorn, and four cans of soda later,  we cleared the empty bowls, swept the floor and discarded the empty cans.

            Charlotte said goodnight and went to her room, few minutes later, Abby did the same living me alone with Josh.

         'Let's go for a walk.' Josh said as he stood up.
  
           'I don't think that is a good idea Josh.'

           'Come on, it's just a walk.'
 
      'I know and it's just Adian.'

'Don't worry about him, we'll be back before you know it.'

         'Oh Josh,' I groaned as I stood up. 'if I didn't know you better, I would have sworn that you are trying to get me killed.'

          'Let's go before I change my mind.'

             It was a warm clear night outside with no cloud visible.
          The moon was crescent and the stars were twinkling.

             I stopped walking when I noticed that Josh had stopped a few feet behind me.

              'Josh, is there a problem?'
I walked back to meet him where he was standing under a tree by the side of the park house.
    
        'Not really.' he answered frowning slightly.

           'Bree...' he started, he looked like he didn't want to say what he wanted to tell me.'

         'Bree, I love you.' he blurted out and oh boy... I was shocked out of my system.

          'You love me?'

   'Yes.. Yes I love you, I know that I have known you for just a month and some weeks but all the time I spent with you, I found out how much I love and need you in my life.'

         'Josh,'  I started but didn't know what to say to him.

           'You say that you love me, but what about your mate?'
         
        'My mate... I don't have a mate.'
          
   'What do you mean by that?'
       
          'I am one of those rear warewolves that were created mateless, and for the first time in my life, I am happy about it.'

 
             I took a deep breath and thought of how to handle this, Josh is a very good friend of mine and I don't want to hurt him.

            'You know that I have a mate right? And he is your Alpha.' he didn't say anything and I turned around and stared at the tree in front of me.

            'I love him Josh, I love him so much.' I ran my fingers through my hair 'He might hate me but my love for him is enough for the both of us, he might not want anything to do with me but I can't leave him.'

           I turned back to look at him, there was pain in his eyes and I felt bad knowing that I caused it.

         'Am sorry Josh, I didn't mean to hurt you.'

          'No Bree, its okay.'
  
      'No it's not okay, I know how you feel, how bad it hurts to love someone and not be loved in return.' I tugged at my jacket because I suddenly felt cold.

     'Am sorry for hurting you Josh, but I'm not ready to leave him, Nina would be devastated, I will be devastated.'

         'Bree, I didn't tell you this to make you leave him,
          I just wanted you to know how I feel about you, I don't want you to leave him either if you don't want to, I only want you to be happy, it doesn't matter if I am the one who makes you happy or someone else.'

              I was relieved because he just made things easier

       'thank you Josh, you are the best.'

          'I hope I won't make you feel awkward.'

        'Awkward? I never feel awkward.' I chuckled softly and he joined me.

           we walked back to the house talking and laughing like children.

            'I have to go now Bree.'

  'yes you have to go, good night Josh.'

           I started walking towards the door when Josh stopped me.

         'Bree, don't give up on him,'
He said referring to Adian.

    'I think there's something going on here, he can't just treat you like shit for no reason, no one can be around you and not love you... Not even him, he is a fool if he thinks he can, good night then.' he said and walked away before I could say anything.
