Struggle is Real

Nobody's POV

Cobra was beyond exhausted. With Lucy being pregnant, she had run Cobra to the bone. She had had weird cravings, extreme moodswings, and she had to have Cobra help her all the time, since she said strain could affect the twins. "Hey Elfie." Gajeel said, nudging the snoring Cobra. Cobra was still snoring against the bar, his eyes twitching. "Here Let me try." Mira said sweetly. Gajeel sweatdropped a Mira walked around the bar to where Cobra was snoring. "lucy is angry.." Mira whispered into Cobra's ear. Mira jumped back as Cobra jumped up and flung his head left and right. "Lucy?" Cobra asked. "I'M RIGHT HERE YOU DUMBASS BAKA!!!" Lucy roared, to the right of Cobra. "R-Right Baby... I was testing you." Cobra stuttered as Lucy gave Cobra a death glare. "I don't like tests. WAH." Lucy teared up before crying. "Aww Lucy. Don't be sad. I should've known better. I'm sorry." Cobra whispered hugging Lucy. Lucy calmed down and hugged Cobra. "I love you!" Lucy said, smiling brightly as Cobra. "I'm really hung-" Lucy didn't finish her statement because she collapsed into the ground, but Cobra caught her. "Lucy??!!" He said gently shaking her shoulder. Lucy didn't respond and her hand just swayed listlessly.  "LUCY?" Cobra said, shaking her a little bit harder, fear creeping into his face. Her head just swayed a little, and Cobra panicked. He rushed her into the infirmary and called for Wendy. He lunged at the lacrima and said, "Wendy Marvell." Wendy's smiling face popped up and she said, "What's up? "LUCY she just collapsed and she's isn't responding! Her breathing's shallow and she's..." Cobra didn't finish because Wendy said, "I'll be over in a minute." and hung up. Cobra paced anxiously as he waited for Wendy. Wendy rushed into the guild doors, and Gray asked, "Hey Wendy.." Wendy cut him off by punching him and she ran into the guild infirmary and saw Cobra pacing anxiously. "Hey Cobra. MOVE!" Wendy commanded. Her hands begun to glow blue as Lucy twitched, and groaned. "Thank goodness." Wendy said. "Is she OK?" Cobra said. "Yea, she should be waking up soon. You-" Wendy was cut off by Lucy groaning as she tried to sit up. "LUCY!" Cobra wailed, leaping to her side and nuzzling her cheek softly. "COBRA!" Wendy shouted, throwing her hands in exasperation. "Gomene. Yes Wendy?" Cobra said, rubbing the back of his head. "You have to have Lucy eat some of your poison. The twins are eating Lucy's magic supply and she can't generate her's so fast because her body is dealing with pregnancy." Wendy explained. "Is that why I blacked out?" Lucy asked, concerned. "Yea. Just saying, after eating Cobra's poison, you might have excessive craving for it..." Wendy said, trailing off. "Okay." Lucy said. Cobra lit his fist with Poison Dragon's Fist  and held it out to Lucy. "I'm scared to eat it, will it hurt?" Lucy said tearing up, cowering from his  fist. "It won't hurt. I promise. You need to eat it so the twins can be healthy." Cobra said gently. "O-Ok." Lucy stuttered. She inhaled a little bit of poison and sighed in content. "It tastes like vanilla." she whispered before finishing the rest. "It always tastes like your favorite flavor." Cobra explained, turning his head, towards Lucy who was curled up on his chest, her face looking angelic and she slept. "Oh my." Mira giggled as she suddenly popped into the infirmary. Cobra watched her face as she smiled in content as she snuggled against Cobra's chest. Her chest rose and fell as Cobra's eyelids closed. Cobra wrapped his arms around Lucy as he fell asleep. The infirmary doors opened to reveal...

Jellal and Zeref. They saw Cobra and Lucy cuddling and they smiled. "She looks so peaceful." Zeref whispered. Suddenly Lucy screamed and bolted awake, panting and sweating. She looked around and sighed. She stared at the ground as Jellal and Zeref came to her side. "What's wrong?" Jellal asked, his face showing worry. "It was a nigthmare.. It was Aamon torturing Cobra, he kept hurting him..." Lucy said crying. Suddenly Lucy's Soul Reaper glowed, and Lucifer appeared. He hugged her and said, "I felt your distress." She leaned into his hug and sighed. "It was just a nightmare. Lucy whispered, looking at Cobra's sleeping figure. "Lucifer, will accompany me on a walk." Lucy said, tiredly. "He-" Zeref started before being cut of by Jellal. "Be Safe Lucy." Jellal said sternly. "Okay Big Brother." Lucy said hugging him and Zeref. "Let's Go, shall we?" Lucifer said and Lucy giggled.
