GMG Day 2

Nobody's POV

Lucy went to the hotel she was staying at, remembering everything that had happened during the first day of the GMG. She remembered what she said to Flare and deep inside Lucy hopes that Flare made the right decision. She reached the hotel, waving off praises and denying drinks to celebrate. She made her way to her room and she sat on her bed deep in thought about something that bugged her. She held a lacrima and took a deep breath. "Zeref Heartfillia, I wish to call you," Lucy told the lacrima. The lacrima glowed gold and Zeref's face appeared. "Hey Lucy," Zeref says cheerfully. "Hey Zer-Chan," Lucy said softly. "LuLu, what's wrong?" Zeref asked, worried by his sister's lack of enthusiasm. "Can you portal to my location? I allowed you to pass my barrier." Lucy asked, not making eye contact with Zeref. "Sure." Zeref said, hanging up the lacrima. Seconds later a black portal opened and Zeref stepped through. "LuLu, what's wrong?" Zeref asks me again. "Do you remember anything about what you did to me? Any of it?" Lucy said, looking down sadly. "What do you mean? I was in my sleep for a while. Your awakening was the only thing that woke me up." Zeref said, looking at me with a confused look. "Then who did this?" Lucy asked, crying softly showing him all the things that "he" did. "LuLu that wasn't me, I know that man. That's Damien Void, he's a powerful man, with powers equal to mine. He was the whole reason I was in the slumber, to begin with. I lost a fight to him and before he could kill me, I put myself in a regenerative healing stage where I would stay until my magic and my physical body was healed." Zeref explained. "What does he want with me?" Lucy said full on crying into Zeref's shoulder. "I don't know sis but, can we join your guild? I'll bring Jellal-San." Zeref said softly. "yeah just bring him here." Lucy said whispering. "Are you sure you're okay?" Zeref asked questioningly. "I just want to be alone right now," Lucy said softly. Zeref stared at her sadly before disappearing to grab Jellal. Hours passed and it was time for the Grand Magic Games Day 2. Lucy and Liam walked side by side and waited on their balcony. "Today's event is one called Chariot! In this event, there will be rolling carts/ vehicles throughout the city. ~Kabo. Magic can be used to win or to slow down competitors. Any mage that falls off the vehicle/cart will be disqualified. The first mage to reach the arena will receive 10 points. The point amount drops to 8th place who will earn 0 points for their team. Please choose your competitors, and in 10 minutes the competitors will need to be in the arena or that team will be disqualified. Good Luck ~Kabo!" Mato said cheerfully.

"Contestants please stand behind the starting line and wait for the signal ~Kabo." Mato ordered. After 15 seconds of waiting a flare went off signaling the start of the Chariot event. Masaki whispered, "Star Teleport: Chariot Before the Finish Line." Masaki disappeared in a flash of stars and ran into the arena. "Masaki Ayako of Crime Hearts Team A has scored first and scored 10 points for her team! ~Kabo." Mato announced. After a while, every team crossed and finished the Chariot event.

Quatro Cerebus: Bacchus Groh- 8 pts.

Crime Hearts Team B: Wendy Marvell- 6 pts

Raven Tail: Kurohebi- 4 pts

Mermaid Heel: Risley Law- 1 pt.

Sabertooth: Sting Eucliffe- 0 pts.

"Next we move on to our One on One Matches ~Kabo." Mato announced. The intermission bell rang and everyone went to clear their heads. After the intermission the One on One battle commenced.

With that, the 2nd day of the GMG was wrapped up and Lucy slept uneasily, wondering why this mysterious man by the name of Damien Void was targeting her.
