War and Woes

Chapter 5

Time skip around 300 years

Percy sat in the rose garden looking at Alex, he spent a lot of his time here. He like to think that if Alex was alive he would be slapping him telling him to move on. But Alex wasn't here, and he would never get slapped by him again.

"Percy..." Chaos strolled into the garden and sat next to him.

"Hey mom." He never healed from Alex's death, he was so broken it appeared he would never be whole again.

"I don't want to do this, Percy it's time. It's time to be Caz." He nodded emotionlessly.

"OK, lets go. Get everyone i will pack and be waiting in the throne room." He stood and flashed away.

"This isn't good." She flashed to the throne room to put out a public announcement.

"OK generals and revive,d you will be sent to the throne room the rangers and army will be sent to camp. The cabin has been expanded to fit everyone. Got it?" Everyone nodded. "Caz, your up." Percy stepped forward, his cloak was different. This one was solid black, no shine, no design. Its seemed to just be, it didn't absorb darkness like Nico's sword, it wasn't made of shadows, it just was there.

"Let's go guys, Dove, Hammer, Stars, Bones, Dagger, Arrow, and Eyes. This might be hard but you need to wait till the right time to reveal yourselves." They nodded and flipped up their hoods. "Remember, Percy Jackson died. He died in war with the rangers. I am Caz to them!" Everyone nodded and Chaos stepped through the portal first.

"Lady Chaos, what do we owe this pleasure." Athena spoke interrupting Zeus who looked mad to have been interrupted.

"The war is starting, i am sending the Primordial Army to camp along with what's left of the rangers. The generals will be coming through with six others whose identities will be revealed in time. They bear bad news." She walked through a portal and new people came through. All the generals had their hoods down, except for seven people they didn't recognize.

"Who are you." Zeus demanded and paled when Percy turned to him. His eyes were black like Chaos'.

"I am Caz, general of Chaos and leader of the ranger. The second most powerful being in the universe."

"No your not, those were Percy's titles." Poseidon looked ready to attack.

"They are mine now. Percy Jackson is dead." All the gods froze, nobody moved a muscle. "He died in a war against a dictator with the rangers, it killed more than ¾ of us."

"Of us what do you mean, there were only 50 rangers here last time?"

"There were actually over 200 rangers last time we were here Athena, we were so big we would split of into groups. We were all over the galaxy dealing with dictators, rebels, anything that didn't need the primordial army. There was a new dictator on Kalfa since Percy killed the other one, Chaos sent all of us in and it was the wrong choice. We killed all of their Army, but they killed most of us. The dictator told me that we would win and he would never come back but we would be broken beyond repair. Percy died in that battle, along with a person i considered my brother. I murder the dictator along with his wife and young child as revenge."

"Ok but that doesn't explain how you got all of my sons titles."

"Percy and i were closer than brothers, i was on a solo mission last time they came so that's why you haven't met me. I knew everything about him and he knew everything about me. We were almost identical and even have the same powers over water, i'm a child of Pontus. The heir to the throne of Chaos always had a backup plan, a chosen person they wanted to take their place if they were to die. I was Percy's chosen person."

"How did Percy die, he was incredible fighter and wouldn't have been taken down my force?"

"Well Artemis since you asked you shall receive. We had though we won and Percy was talking with Alex in the shadows. Two men had hidden and went to stab both of them in the back. Alex lunged to block to sword to Percy's back and got one through his own, seconds later the sword came back and stabbed him right through the heart."
