I Love You, Don't Forget That

June 18th; Second Day

BEEP BEEP BEEP

"Ugnn.."  I checked my phone and it was almost 8am. "Time to start my day.." I get up and stretch, then groan.

"My, my.." I sighed. "Today is going to be better than the first time I met Seto Kaiba." I got into the shower and began to wash up.

Seto Kaiba's POV

"Mokuba." My younger brother looked up at me.

"Was is it, Seto?"

"I have a favor." He runs up to me as I sip from my coffee.

"Sure, what is it?" I looked down on my little brother.

"Today, I have an appointment with a very important individual. I will need you to go to the meeting today at noon."

"Seto, that wouldn't be a good idea. I have no clue what the plans are for this company. I've been in school, but is this the reason why you wanted me to not go today?" I nodded.

"Yes, both meetings are important but the appointment I have today will benefit 2 companies. One including our own. That's why this is more important than the meeting at noon."

"Not following, Seto." I sighed.

"Mokuba, go to the meeting at noon and I'll explain everything tonight when we go home."

Ring ring

"Kaiba."

"Sir, Miss Lena Janes is here to speak with you." It was Roland.

"Alright, send her up." I hung up and looked at my younger brother. "Mokuba, get ready for that meeting. I made you copies of documents to take. They're in file cabinet in the computer room."

"Okay." Mokuba walks out and there was a knock at my office door. I got up to answer the door.

Lena Janes' POV

I knock on the office door as I stand in my black dress slacks and my blue blouse, cute black sandals with my long curly locks in a side braid.

The door opens and I am welcomed into his office.

"Miss Janes."

"Mr. Kaiba." He moved himself as I walk in. "Someone's a gentleman." I giggled.

"No time for jokes, Miss Janes. Go ahead and have a seat." I followed him as he sat at his desk and I sat down in the chair.

"What did you come up with for me?" Mr. Kaiba folded his hands together and sighed.

"Just don't make this anymore complicated than it already is. This is business."

"It's our business." I smiled. He just rolled his eyes.

"The reason why I called you last night and told you I need you to stay longer than what you were told to was so it would be easier for you and myself. I called your father last night when you hung up." My eyes narrowed.

"Excuse me?"

"I called your father last night. Too bad he didn't answer, but he did leave a voice mail early this morning. Would you like to listen to what he had to say?"

"Of course." He pressed a button on his answering machine.

"Hello, Mr. Kaiba. I apologize for not being able to take your call last night. I did get your voice mail though about my daughter staying passed the 7 days I assigned her. She can stay for the maximum of 10 days. She's a huge part of Janes Electronics and I am going to need her assistance along with what you are able to lend us. As she stays longer than her given hours, she must stay with you for the extra 3 days after her hotel stay. Please, take care of my daughter Seto Kaiba. I would greatly appreciate that more than anything on this planet. I must go, I have meetings and special appointments this morning. Have a blessed day. Sincerely, Richard Janes.

I couldn't believe my ears.

"Mr. Kaiba!?" He smirked.

"Miss Janes."

"I refuse to stay longer than the 10 days, and do not make it longer."

"10 days is all I need." I was really upset.

"You know, this had made me extremely disappointed."

"There's no need to be. What plans do you have tonight?"

"Not sure at the moment. Why?"

"I'll pick you up at 7pm for dinner."

"I'm sorry?"

"We have a date. No exceptions."

"Woah, woah, woah. What about the company?"

"Let me handle it." This made me smile a little bit.

"Mr.-"

"Just call me Seto." He gave me a soft smile. My smile got bigger.

"Then you can call me Lena." I thought he was cute when he smiled like he just did.

Ring ring

"Kaiba." He answers his office phone. "Yes... Everything should be there... You'll be fine, Mokuba, I'm busy with my guest right now... It turns out I'm going to be home later than planned... Okay.. Text me when the meeting is finished.."

He hung up.

"My brother called. He's going to a meeting for me since I'm here having an appointment with you." I nodded.

"Now, why would you send your own brother to replace you when you could have just rescheduled my appointment for a different day?"

"Well, you are here for a limited time so I really don't have a choice. You're here to help your company and I'm going to give you assistance. But first, stay the whole 10 days. You'll end up figuring out how I'll help you." I got confused, but I'm just going to go with it.

"Whatever you say, I guess." He stands up and I do aswell. He walks me over to the door and my phone goes off.

Ring ring

I check to see who's calling me, and it was none other than my mother.

"Lena Janes."

"My, you have grown up! I heard you were out of town, how's that going for you?" She was such a bitch to me and my father growing up.

"Excuse me? Since when did you care?" Seto stared down at me.

"Well, I am your mother. I would appreciate if you could talk to me every now and then."

"Me? Talk to you? Even after what you did to Dad and myself? You're so funny!!" She started to laugh.

"You have gotten some attitude young lady."

"Never call me again." I hung up on her, then I began to slightly tear up. It didn't show much which was good.

Seto and I walked out of the office and he didn't say a word to me. I was still pretty down from the phone call from my mother, but I tried so hard to not let it bother me.

Turned out Seto Kaiba was walking me out to my car.

"Decent ride." I nodded.

"You know it..." I said slightly. I unlocked my doors and I climbed in my car. Before I was able to close my door, Seto comes up and looks into my eyes. "Seto? Are you okay?" He seemed worried.

"I should be asking you if you're okay." This is quite odd of him to act like this.

"It's nothing to worry about, honestly. You better go back-" He cupped my face and kissed me.

My eyes got so wide and I fell into his sweet kiss. I placed my hands on his cheeks as his were on mine and I kissed him back. When we separated, he takes my hands and says,

"I will worry about you." I smiled. "I will see you tonight." He walks away and I close my door wondering what just happened.
