We ran inside her room, " Yerin! " Eomma ran to hug her. I smiled looking at them, this is what we've been waiting for. " I miss you, eomma " She cried.
I walked closer to her bed and held her hand. "I'm relieved, you woke up" I said. She pulled me in for a hug too. " I'm sorry " She whispered. I patted her back and comforted her.
" I'll leave you two for awhile, I need to get some medication " Eomma excused herself. I sat down next to her bed. " How are you? " She asked. " I'm fine, do you still feel hurt? " I asked back. She shook her head. " How was school in England? " I questioned. " It wasn't really nice because I left something important here, something I couldn't leave" She answered.
" What is it? " I said. She leaned in and hugged me once more, " It's you and eomma " She told me. " I miss you " I said. " Me too" He said back. " Recover fast so we can hang out " I told her.
-------
2 days later, she was discharged and taken home.
" Why are we staying at your house? " Yerin asked me. " There is a small problem with your house but nothing to worry about " I replied. " Yerin! Come here " Eomma called her. I took her to her room," Donghan, you should rest, I'll take care of her" She told me.
As I was walking out the room, my back bumped into the wall causing me to shout. " Ahh! " I held the pain. " Are you okay? " Yerin said. " Your back injury got worse, I have a friend who is a doctor specialize on bones, I'll call her over " She said.
I lay down on the couch and put an ice pack for the time being. " How did you injure yourself? " Yerin questioned. " I fell on the stairs, it's nothing much " I answered. " She'll be here in about 10 minutes, Yerin watch over him while I go out for awhile " Eomma told us.
" Did anything happen when I was asleep? " Yerin asked me. " Nothing much, by the way... how is your relationship with EunJoo? He hasn't come yet? " I asked back. " He was suppose to come but somehow the school ask him to stay so he canceled the ticket " She replied. " How can he be so unthoughtful? You're hurt and he's busy himself " I told her.
" Donghan ah, I have a feeling... he's cheating on me and the thing is I think he is cheating on me with my close friend who recently also moved to England, she told me she moved because of her father but I think she moved to be with Eunjoo " She explained. " Why do you think so? " I questioned. " Recently she's been asking me personal things about him and she saved a few pictures of him on her phone which I happened to see when she left her phone at my dorm " She explained.
" Do you want advice? "I asked. She nodded. " Don't trust him until he reveals the truth, hang out with that friend of yours to find out more about why she wants informations about him even though I know you might be hating her now " I replied. " I thought I should just give up " She said. " Give up? That's nothing like you " I said back.
" Guys, this is my friend Kim Jina and this is the patient Donghan and my daughter Yerin " Eomma introduced. " Annyeonghaseo " We both bowed. " Annyeong, how is your back? " She questioned. " It's better but when I accidentally touch something, it starts hurting again " I told her. " Let me check " She said.
She looked at my back and started putting ointment on it, " This ointment is a type of painkiller so you can relax for over 5 hours using this, your back is not badly injured but I don't want you to move too much just yet because it can get worse " She explained.
" Since you're here, how about you stay for lunch? " Eomma told her. " I would love to " She agreed. We started cooking as soon as she was done treating my back. " I'll help you up " Yerin offer me her hand. She pulled me up too hard causing me to fall in a hugging position with her, we stared in each others eyes.
