I took early flight to Korea and went straight to the hospital, " Mom! " I rushed in her room and hugged her. " You really came? " She asked. " How are you feeling? " I asked back. " I got a surgery earlier and I'm fine now " She replied.
" I'll go buy some food, wait here " I told her. I went to a nearby restaurant and ordered mom's favorite Chinese food. As soon as I went back in her room, she was asleep.
I sat down next to her bed and held her hand. " I'm sorry, mom. I left too early and was never able to come back. I know I'm a bad girl for leaving you like that so quickly, I thought of this school as my last chance " I said.
" There was something I miss a lot too... he's cute, funny, tall, talented, caring, he's my ideal type. I made a big mistake of deleting an app he downloaded for me, I regret every bad thing I did to him, he was such a nice guy, I want to go back and be with him but I don't think he wants to see me anymore " I continued.
My phone rang and I went to pick it up,
Me: Hello
EunJoo: Yerin ah, did you arrive safely? I'm sorry I can't go with you
Me: I arrived fine, I'm currently in the hospital.
EunJoo: Say Hi and get well soon to your mom for me
Me: I will, aren't you at school though?
EunJoo: I told the teacher about you and they said you can have a 2 weeks break in Korea
Me: That's good.
EunJoo: I'll come in a few days for the long weekend
Me: Alright, I'll see you soon
EunJoo: Bye!
The call ended.
" Yerin ah " My mom called. " Mom, are you okay? " I asked. " I'm perfectly fine, I can be discharged from the hospital in a few days " She replied. " You have to stay healthy so I can take you to England with me " I told her.
" Are you still going back to England? " She questioned. " What do you mean? " I asked back. " If you feel safer here, stay here. You have me and Donghan by your side " She answered.
I suddenly remembered Donghan, " Mom, I'll be back in awhile, rest okay? " I excused myself.
I ran out the hospital to the crossroad, I have to meet Donghan before I leave for England again. Will he be home?
