Karen's perspective

She stared at both of us for like three minutes now while tapping her pen between her lips and her chin. Trystann and I were both speechless.

I didn't know what to say, first of all, who talks about strange things then when hears a snap gets into the kitchen and comes back as if nothing happened?

Strange.

"Uh, you don't seem to have red velvet cupcakes anymore, though that's the only type of cupcakes she eats" Trystann excused. "Right Karen?" He asked me. I didn't know what to say 'cause he's been looking at me like we both are in trouble, not much a difference with the just-go-with-it stare.

"Uhmm, yeah, uh, I think we should just come back tomorrow" I lied. There's so many questions screaming out my thoughts yet I haven't even let go of one and now we're about to leave.

Great.

"Of course ya should! 'Cause I'll bake some for you tonight! " She replied to us. I feel guilty about what we just did, she's gonna be baking so for me
although I do love red velvet cupcakes... But still.

"Uhh" I murmured seriously wtf am I supposed to say?

"Yes! Of course" Trystann bat in.

We left. I got into the car and so did he.

We didn't talk to each other for so long. Until I couldn't hold myself anymore.

"What the hell was that," I asked him, coldly, or no expression-ly. I really didn't know how he was supposed to explain that because if I was him, I couldn't explain it either. He started to slow down his speed.

"Well uh..." He looked at me. He looks confused, as I told you, I really couldn't make out any explanation. "I had the same question for myself," he said. I giggled a bit but then I realized I was still confused.

"What do you mean you have the same question? No. Explain" I replied. He took a bit of a deep breath and waited for the U-turn before he spoke.

"I-I don't know her, neither did I know what she was talking about. About those chasms, and dreamers, and how you were... feeling..." he added. Okay I still got questions I said to myself, or maybe I should tell it to him too.

"If you don't know her then how did she know you?" I asked.

"I don't know. Maybe she just heard you call me?" He replied.

"Oh, seriously Trystann? The last time I recall saying your name was at Wynd St. and as I remember the last thing I said to you was 'Aaaaaa my hair'" I said sarcastically and smirked at him.

"I really don't know. Maybe she knew someone who looked like me? Or may-" He defended. I cut him.

"She looked like she knew what she was saying. What are dreamers? Why do they jump of chasms?" I rebated.

"I'm telling you I really don't know what she's saying. That's why I tried to leave and said you only want red velvet cupcakes!" He replied. Okay, now he's funny, oh please.

"Right after you snapped your finger and everything changed! And which made her bake me some tomorrow, now I'm caught between keeping my lies and giving up with guiltiness!" I replied. He laughed at me.
