Karen's perspective.
Cold was the night, and yes, I've been shivering here with my body folded like a sad kid. I opened my eyes, everything I see looks frozen, everything was, it was snowing and all I knew was that I was laying down on a pile of it that I couldn't even feel the ground anymore.
It was so cold I thought I saw polar bears wearing jackets.
So cold, so numb, so pale. That was how I'd describe myself. I took my right hand to push from the ground so I could stand up. I've changed clothes? Im now wearing a black sweater and black pants.
I sat up and removed the snow from my hair, they're everywhere, and I believe that if you were here right now you'd probably think Im a Yeti. I stood up and stretched my leg, still full of snow, like how long have I been here?
"Uhh, Trystann?" I called, I couldn't see him, wherever he was, he still wasn't in my sight. 'Promise' that what he said, I can't even see him. I started to walk through the whole place, I saw something weird.
I approached it, it's like the world cracked apart, like when an eggshell cracks, but this one is open, wide open. My curiosity bugged me to look closer at it asking whats in there? What is this? And dozens of questions. I took a step forward, Then I bowed a bit down, it was shallow, too shallow, I couldn't see anything but I felt like I could if I would look closer.
I took my left foot for a step nearer to it when my other foot slipped through the snow and I fell in the dark, shallow hole. I closed my eyes and screamed.
"Woah, Woah, that's a bit fast," a voice said, I opened my eyes.
I didn't fall.
Someone was grasping my arm. Now I could see the hole better, 'cause im in it, but not exactly that way.
I turned my head slowly above me, trying to see who it was. Trystann.
"Let's get you out there," he told me, he gave me his other hand to hold on, I took it and he pulled me out.
My heart wasn't stopping from palpitating, sweaty palms, and faint. Things were happening too fast, I just took a look, and I almost killed myself. I looked atTrystann, he was laughing at me.
"The chasm attracts curious minds, that's why its often called 'Curiere' from the Latin word Attrahere and curiosus." he told me. I didn't know what to tell him, should I tell him, 'look I just ALMOST fell off a cliff that you call chasm which is a mythical thing, and now you're lecturing me myth-science just like my science teacher?' I think I shouldn't say that, so I didn't say anything at all.
"Which is why I think that I just had a look on an eagle over there and you jumped into it," he told me. Okay now wow.
"I did not jump!" I argued with him. No, really I didn't jump, I slipped through the snow.
"Yes you did, you were excited, well if you want to do it now its fine for me, I was just waiting for you to relax a bit," Trystann said. He tugged the sleeves of his jackets, dusting off the snow. His eyes were still blue, watery, it never changed.
"What do you mean?" I asked. I moved a bit further from him, I was kinda feeling strange.
"Well do you already want to? Okay," he said then nod. He stood up and wore his jacket and put the hood on. I was speechless in the fact that I don't know what he means or what he wants me to do. "Come on," he told me.
