Chapter 1

Beach Party

Diane's Point of View

"Mom my friends invited me to go to the beach today. It's okay if you don't want me to go." My mom and dad look at each other and smile.

"We will let you go to the beach party but be home before 10:00 pm." My mom said. I hug them both and went outside.

"So?" Raine asked as he raise an eyebrow.

"They let me go. Wanna meet my parents while I'm going to change my clothes?" Raine nodded and we walked inside and when my mom and dad saw him they both flashed a smile.

"Hello there, how are you?" I went upstairs and change my outift into a white t-shirt and a royal blue jacket and I wore my favorite white shorts. I grab my red sling bag and brushed my hair and went downstairs since it's only 5:30 pm we'll be able to make it to the party.

"Mom, dad we gotta go I promise I will be home before 10." I waved at them and went outside.

"You're prettier without your eyeglass and more cuter." Raine said to me.

"Umm... thank you but for me I look like a weirdo." I said jokingly. Raine directly look at me and he move his face closer to my face.

"You're beautiful inside and out." He said to me and smile.

He doesn't even know me and he's saying that to me?!

When we went to Raine's house I saw our friends and when Kristen saw me she quickly hug me tight and smile.

"I miss you Diane." She said to me.

"We're glad your mom and dad let you go with us." Jessica said.

"It'll be cooler with you Diane." Margot said to me and then someone hugged me again and that's Elizabeth..

"She's my teddy bear." Elizabeth said to them.

"We're riding on my van." Mark said.

I look at his van and it's pretty cool. We went inside the van and it's like a bedroom and good for 10 people. I sat down inside and sigh.

"You look prettier without your eyeglass." Ash noticed that I'm not wearing my eyeglass. I flash a smile at him and nod my head.

Raine sat down beside me while he's tapping away something on his phone.

"Is the beach far away from here?" I asked them.

"A little bit but we can get there at 7:00 when there's no traffic." Josh said to me.

"What the hell! Oxford is not that crowded Josh." Kristen said to Josh.

While inside the van I saw Raine sleeping together with Maxwell, Ash, Josh, Jessica and Margot.

When Raine noticed me sleepy he asked me to sleep on his shoulder.

"I'm okay here." I said to him.

"No, you can sleep here on my shoulder." Raine said. And I put my head on his shoulder.

"Mark can you please turn off the lights?" Raine said and then Mark turned off the lights and then I feel coldness.

"Raine?"

"Yes?" He asks.

"It's very cold." I said to him.

"Um... we don't have any blankets here." He said and laugh.

I sigh and just closed my eyes so I won't feel the coldness anymore and sleep fast.
