New FriendsRaine's Point of View
As I entered my new school I took a glance at the building and shrugged my shoulder. I went inside the school and bumped into someone. She's a girl, she has a brown hair and a honey eyes. I helped her to stand up and she thanked me.
"Sorry about that. I'm Melody ." She said to me.
"I'm Raine McCallister. Nice to meet you Melody." She blushed when I said her name.
"Wanna be friends?" She asked me. I slowly nod my head and she smile.
"You're new here?!" Once again! I nodded.
"Where are you from before you live here?"
"I'm from Oxford and then I moved here in Manchester. I don't really want to move here because I'll miss my friend and uhh..." She look at me when I stopped.
"And?" She said.
"My relatives yeah." I lied.
"That's normal to miss them. I was also a transferee but I met new friends and bullies, you know." She said jokingly.
"Bullies will never vanish in your life. They are either insecure or judgemental." She sigh when I finished talking.
"Something wrong?" I asked as I raised my eyebrow.
"Nothing! Wanna meet my other friends? There's still more 20 minutes before class starts." I nodded and she grabbed my hands and we made our way to the cafeteria.
"Guys! I have a new friend! Her name is Raine." Melody said.
"Hi I'm Raine McCallister nice to meet you all, you know if you wanted to be friends." I mumbled my last statement.
"Hello! I'm Nathan and this is Alex." He said and the boy with a blonde hair waved at me.
"I'm Emily and this is Sabrina." Emily said and smile cutely at me but nobody can beat Diane's cutest smile, oh no! I said her name again.
"Sit down Raine." Alex said to me and I sat down beside Emily and I saw her winking at me and I feel nervous about this girl.
"Is she okay?" I pointed Emily and they saw her still winking at me.
"Don't worry about her. She always do that when she likes someone." Nathan explained. And I sighed in relief when she stopped winking at me or should I say weird wink.
"Raine how old are you?" Melody asked as she took a sit beside me while drinking her water.
"I'm 19." I said to them.
"Have you dated someone?" Here we go again.
"Yes..."
"Wow!"
"I broke up with her because it's for the best. I mean! Look! We are not right for each other. We only dated for a week and that's not a true relationship. It's like we were playing hide and seek. So yeah I broke up with her." I said and sigh again.
I miss her so much. I wanna hug her and kiss her but I can't. She's far away from me. I won't really break up with her if we're just not a going to move here in Manchester. And it wasn't really a dare. It was true feelings even I just met her that day because that's how I fall inlove.
"Forget her. You have new school and new friends." Melody told me.
"What do you mean forget her?! I won't do that! I still love her and even we're not dating she's still mine and my friends will always be my friends. Even just I have you guys it doesn't mean that I have to forget about them." I got mad at Melody because she wanted me to forget my love and my friends.
