15Keith wants to Die

That night Kai went back to the infirmary with everyone. For the next few days they waited for Amon to recover from his surgery, they all frequently visited him and tried to convince Keith to come out of the shack and socialize. Amon had been in a coma for a week. Each day flew by, each shorter than the last. During all that time Keith had still been in the shack, locked in. But he stayed, without food, without water, without Amon. After a week they were headed out to the battlefield again, and then and only then, Keith came out.

Everyone was scattering around gathering all their weapons and supplies reaching for her knives Kai saw Keith.

" Keith. You're out. Uhh, you've been in there a while, do you want any food or anything?" Kai offered a random potato she found on the ground.

"I guess." He grasped the small vegetable and put it in a bag.

"Keith, gather your stuff, we're headin out in like 5 min." Tsaki smiled.

"Done." Keith showed the inside of his trench coat, many knives and a few guns were hid in the inside pockets.

'I'm gonna check on Six quick before we go." Kai yelled running to headquarters.

"Be fast, we're leaving in 5." Kaito yelled. "Our truck should be down this alley, shall we go?" he asked gesturing to the very sketchy alley. Silently Keith walked ahead.

"Okay we are leaving." Exclaimed Tsukki. They all followed Keith.

Once they reached the truck the superior driving yelled at them to get in, because apparently they were an hour late, even though it was only seven in the morning. In confusion they all shuffled into the truck hoping he would wait for Kai, but nope, he drove off fast causing almost everyone to fall of the seats.

"Wait, are we just going to leave Kai?" Kaito asked.

"Well this guy isn't gonna stop the truck." Lain sighed.

They all sat in silence for most of the hour long ride. For a while the truck stopped.

"What the fuck is taking so long." Loki asked looking through the only small window in the back of the truck. He saw many trucks lined up beside theirs. "Oh shit man, I think we're fighting in a huge group this time." Suddenly the superior opened the door. They all shuffled out. There was a huge crowd of people all about their age, and about seventeen trucks are parked in a circle. The superior standing in the middle of the truck circle started to yell.

"EVERYONE GET YOUR ASSES OVER HERE. I HAVE IMPORTANT NEWS. RECENTLY OUR MILITARY BASES HAVE BEEN INVADED BY DISTRICT 1 SPIES AND DISTRICT 23.THE INFIRMARY AND THE CONTAINMENT WING HAVE BEEN BLOWN YUP. THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THEM WAS TO CAPTURE THE ROBOT FROM 23 AND CONDUCT EXPERIMENTS. AS PAYBACK FOR THEM DOING THAT, US, SQUAD 1 WILL BE FIGHTING 23 DIRECTLY, AND SQUAD 2 BACK AT HEADQUARTERS WILL BE ATTACKING THE REMAINING ENEMIES. GET YOUR SUPPLIES AND GO." They stood there in shock.

"Kai and Amon are still there." Keith whispered. He walked behind the truck and sat down.

"No way. This can't be real." Kaitos voice was shaky. Tsukki looked around trying to see if Kai made it in one of the other trucks, no sign of her anywhere. But he did see someone. Their tall stature, one arm, and blue hair made it almost impossible to blend in with a normal crowd, it was Amon.

"AMON. OVER HERE." Loki flailed his arms until Amon noticed him.

"LOKI." Amon jogged over to the group.

"I thought you died." Kaito said still shook.

"I got on the last truck coming from headquarters."
