A Few Weeks Ago
The rain beat down on the shack Keith called home, he couldn't sleep, he had been awake for hours tossing and turning. He sat up, Amon lied across the room from him. Keith grabbed a pen and paper he found on the floor and began to write; when he finished his notes he folded one and placed it beside Amon. He grabbed a rope and left the building. The rain soaked his clothing, the ground was covered with puddles, everything seemed gloomy and dark. He walked down the alleyway where the twins lived, and left note there and kept walking. He went to a abandoned building just a few blocks away and entered. Everything was destroyed and thrown all over the place from a past terrorist attack. Some blood was splattered on the walls, but he kept walking without concern. He went up three floors where he got a good view of the disaster of a district he lived in. He grabbed a chair and began to tie a noose, tied the end to a ceiling fan, and left a note a few feet away from him. He stood on the chair and put the noose around his scarred neck.
Thunder rolled and shook the ground, Amon awoke and caught sight of the note out of the corner of his eye; he noticed that Keith wasn't there. He quickly unfolded the note and began to read. ' Amon. Thank you. Good bye. Don't come for me, it's no use.'. Amon panicked and ran down the alley to the twins.
"Agh! Wake up! Emergency, code red!."
"What do you want?" Tsaki asked.
"Keith!" He screamed flailing around the note. "You got one of those notes!"
"This is just a note. Nothing important." Tsukki said.
"It's a suicide note!."
"What." He reread it again. "I thought he was just going somewhere dangerous."
"We need to find him, got any ideas of where he is?" Tsaki asked.
"A few blocks down there's a apartment building he likes to go to. Let's check there." Amon suggested. They then ran off to the building in the middle of the storm, they were drenched in water. Amon pushed the doors open looking around and heading for the stairs. He ran up to the second floor followed by Tsukki and Tsaki, when they heard a loud crash coming from above them. Amon panicked even more and sprinted up the stairs. Keith was lying face down with a ceiling fan on top of him. Bits of the roof were scattered on the floor, and the chair was kicked a few meters from where his body was lying. Amon walked over to Keith, his voice was shaky.
"Keith? You alive?" He asked.
"No" Keith replied with his face still in the floor.
"Dead people can't talk Keith."
"Then I'm not dead."
"Then let's keep it that way." Amon lifted the fan off of Keiths back and helped him up.
"You okay?" He asked
"No" Keith replied.
"You wanna talk about it?"
"No"
"Was your initial plan to get killed by a ceiling fan?" Amon asked.
"Yes. And no."
"Let's get you home." The twins headed down the stairs but Keith walked to a shattered window sticking his head out. "C'mon Keith." He stood still. "Keith. Talk to me, what's going on."
"There's something wrong with me." He began picking at the remaining glass.
"That's nothing to kill yourself ov-"
"Alvin Krushade."
"How do you-?" Amon asked slowly approaching Keith.
" Alvin something bad is going to happen to me, to you, to Kai, and most importantly, Izel."
"What?" Keith violently turned around pushing Amon to the ground.
"I could tell you. But knowing that information would make you want to kill yourself as well."
