"Here it is boys. District 1." Kaito said to the guys in the back. "We're gonna stop at my old place, ya know, see if it's intact or not. Get weapons this might be dangerous." Kaito pulled up to a tall building that was intact, it looked quite nice compared to any building in District 22. The city had many tall buildings and many lights that brightened up the night sky.
"Holy shit." Tsaki said in amazement climbing out of the truck.
"These lights are" Loki looked directly at the lights. "so bright."
"This way." Lain said leading the group to one of the many tall illuminated buildings. "We're only on floor five so we can just take the stairs. They all ran up the stairs following Kaito and Lain. They walked down a few hallways and stopped at one door, the one numbered 512 and knocked. No reply so he reached under the doormat and got a key and entered.
"Ciao. Nessuno a casa?" Kaito asked walking around the small apartment, the walls were all painted grey, the kitchen they passed through was just small, same with the living room. They walked to a wooden door where a woman could be heard.
"Ch c'e?" A crash could be heard. "Sono armato. Non avvicinarti!"
"Ma'ma. Sono io Kaito."
"Kaitel?" The door opened to reveal a short middle aged woman, supposedly Kaito's mother. She wore a apron and her brown hair was tied in a tight bun on the top of her head. "Kaitel, Laiven. Casa tua. I tou amici sono qui. Ciao."
"Ma'ma, inglese."
"You boys must be Kaitels friends correct?" She asked. They all nodded. "What are you doing back here?" She asked.
"Our friend was taken by District 1 a few days ago, we've come to get her back." Lain said.
"I see. Well, come back when you're done finding your girlfriend Kaitel."
"She's not my girl friend." Kaito blu shed. "So ma'ma, we were gonna go to the bar, it's in the same place, right?"
"Si"
"Thank you Ms. Moreitti." Lain said heading out the door. "We'll come back tomorrow morning." They left and closed the door.
"Wait." Keith said. "Your name, is Kaitel? What the fuck kinda name is that?"
"That's why I go by Kaito." Kaito grunted walking to the stairs.
"And Lain, Laiven, the hell."
"That's the least of my problems." Lain said. When they reached the exit of the building they jumped into the truck and drove to the bar. It was a decent size and the exterior was lit up with lights of all colours. They opened the door to go in when a girl with long black hair and a large scar across both her eyes welcomed them at the door.
"KAITEL. YOU'RE HOME." She cheered hugging Kaito. "AND LAIVEN." She pulled them both in for a hug.
"Atmer. These things are my friends." He pointed to each of them. "Keith, Amon, Tsaki, Tsukki, and Loki. Friends, Atmeratsu Moreitti." He paused. "They like to drink, get lots ready. It's gonna be a long night."
"Got it." She skipped off. They all looked around, calling this bar a 'bar' was a understatement. It was a club, with a legit DJ, flashy lights, drinks, and hot girls. They all went over to a booth in the corner. Atmeratsu brought a few shots over.
"SHOTS." Keith screamed passing one to Amon and drinking his own without hesitation. For the first hour they sat in their booth drinking, Keith and Amon decided to go dance with a crowd on the dancefloor.
"So, Lain. Let's make a bet." Loki said. "You owe me fifty if Keith and Amon start fucking."
"Whatever." Lain and Loki shook hands. The dance floor was filled with fog form the fog machines and lights pierced Amon's eyes. The music was loud so Amon yelled.
