After I got changed, I went downstairs to find our coach sitting on the couch like he owns the place, and Dana beside him.

I said, "Hey coach! long time no see!"

"Oh hey Alex! How are you?" He said as he hugged me.

"I'm okay. You?" I asked as I pulled away from the hug.

"I've been doing great." He said as he smiled.

"Dana." I gave her a smile.

"Hey." she said with no enthusiasm, or anything at all. She didn't even bother to look up.

"I'm sorry about Dana, she woke up on the wrong side of the bed today." He joked.

and then Dana said, "That was so funny I forgot how to laugh." and of course, with a sarcastic/fake smile.

"Umm... Right. Anyway, I'm gonna get you guys something to drink."

I went to the kitchen to find My Gramps and Uncle there.

"Hey Gramps! Woah! hold up! Uncle what are you doing here?" I said and then ran to hug him.

"Got no work to do, and I remembered it was your birthday this week, so I thought I should come back here in Cali and celebrate with my family!" he said and then chuckled.

"Oh yeah. My birthday..."

Right. Birthday. Oh yeah. Did I just seriously forget about my birthday. *facepalm*

"Is Dad coming?" I asked.

"I don't know if my brother is coming."

Oh right. As usual, He's always out with his other family. He didn't even come to my debut when I turned eighteen.

"Where's your daughter?" I asked, and somehow changing the toppic.

"Oh Jane? She said she was out with a friend. I'm starting to think she has a boyfriend."

If he only knew.

"Anyway, I'm gonna get some water."

Then I came back with a litre of water and some cups.

"Hello citizens of the world, I'm back." I said with a huge smile on my face.

FEW HOURS LATER

Coach and Dana just left the place. I told coach I didn't want to join anymore, because I haven't had any training since then, but Kade and the guys will still join, including James.

They leave tomorrow.

I suddenly realized that James didn't leave with them. He's still here. That's odd, he should've left with them.

But that's none of my business anymore.

I picked up the used cups, and went to the kitchen to put them near the sink.

Then I saw him.

"Hello..." I asked curiously.

"Hey."

"Why are you still here?" I asked.

Crabs, I'm nervous as heck.

"Look, I broke up with Dana."

Why the heck does he have to tell me that? We broke up days after I turned eighteen.

"Okay.." I said with my eyebrow lifting up.

"I mean come on, you don't have to tell me that. That's none of my business." I continued.

"Right.. Oh yeah. Umm.. I just wanted to let you know." He replied.
