I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing I drowsily look at my phone and after a few seconds I can make out the name of the person who was calling me It was Vanessa I answered it and I said "Hello?" very sleepily

Vanessa: Hey sis
Laura: *yawns* What's up?
Vanessa: Oh you know the usual did I wake you up?
Laura: *eyes droopy* Mhm
Ross: *wakes up and sees Laura on the phone and sees her struggling to stay awake says softly and sleepily* Who's that?
Vanessa: *heard him* Is that Ross?
Laura: *mumbles* Yeah it's Ross
Ross: *says sleepily* Who's that?
Laura: *takes the phone away from her mouth mumbles sleepily* Vanessa
Ross: Oh
Vanessa: *near tears* Laura mom got in a car accident!
Laura: *didn't hear what she said since she's so tired mumbles* Ok
Vanessa: You should go back to sleep you sound intoxicated
Laura: *mumbles sleepily* M'kay *hangs up drops her phone and starts to doze off again*
Ross: *dozes off mumbles* What did she want?
Laura: *mumbles sleepily* She said my mom was in a car accident
Ross: *mumbles* Ohh
5 seconds later...
Laura: *more awake realizes jolts upward* WHAT?!
Ross: *jolts awake* Huh? What the? What happened?
Laura: Ross I'm sorry I have to go! *stands up packs all her dirty clothes quickly grabs her phone about to leave near tears*
Ross: *confused runs up to her* Hey what's going on?
Laura:*tears streaming down her face* My mom *can't finish her sentence falls to the floor crying silently*
Rydel: *comes in* What's with all the noise?
Ross: *ignores her kneels next to Laura* What happened??
Laura: *whispers* My mom was in a car accident
Ross: *eyes go wide*
Rydel: *eyes go wide too* Oh my god
Ross: If you're going I'm going with you!
Laura: Ross I can't ask you to do that!
Ross: Laura I can't be here another week worried sick about you *to Rydel* Tell mom that we had an emergency!
Rydel: Ok
Ross: *quickly packs his stuff* Done!
Laura: We gotta go!
