Laura's POV

Two days ago I receieved the most traumatic news I haven't stopped crying and Ross has been by my side through all of it I feel terrible Today's the day of the funeral I slowly wake up in my room and see Ross asleep next to me I slowly get out of his grip and stand up I grabbed black clothes and shoes and my necklace and earrings Ross gave me for Christmas I walked into my bathroom connected to my room took a shower and changed I put some makeup on so I don't look as horrible as I did from crying After I leave the bathroom to find Ross awake and ajusting the tie on his suit

End Of POV

Ross: *adjusting his tie looking in the mirror sees Laura's reflection and turns around* Hey 

Laura: Hey *sad*

Ross: You look gorgeous

Laura: *shows a small smile* Thanks You look amazing

Ross: Thanks 

Vanessa: *knocks on the door* You guys ready?

Laura: Yeah

Vanessa: *comes in *

Laura: You look nice

Vanessa: Thanks

*They all go to the funeral*

2 hours later during the service

Priest: And now here to say a few words please let me ask Ellen's youngest daughter Laura to take the podium

Laura: *walks up to the podium*

Ross: *follows holding her hand*

Priest: *moves away from the podium*

Laura: *sighs talks into the microphone* Hello I would like to thank you all for coming I would like to say a few words about my mother She was the kind of person you'd go to for advice she was the best mom anyone could ever ask for I'll never forget her smile the way she could change a crowd's whole mood just by walking in if it weren't for her I wouldn't be living my dreams I'd never be an actress I'd still be the shy girl who'd sit in the back of my class in Arizona she's taught me everything I know today I just wish this unfortunate event didn't take place she never did any harm to anyone I just wish her time didn't expire so soon *starts tearing up*

Ross: *looks at her still holding her hand lets a tear fall*

Laura: I would like to say that without this woman I don't know where I'd be *looks at her mom's casket behind her* I love you mom I hope you're looking down on us now *tears streaming down her face looks back at the people* Thank you

The crowd: *claps tears streaming down their faces*

2 hours later the funeral's over

Ross: *driving his car* You ok?

Laura: *sighs* I will be soon

Ross: Ok

*They pull up at Ross's house*

Laura: *gets out* I'll be back I'm gonna get different clothes 

Ross: Ok

Laura: *runs home*

Ross: *sighs looks at the direction Laura ran*

Ross's POV

I feel so terrible for Laura she just lost her mom the day after Christmas I feel so bad she hasn't stopped crying but I found a way to turn her frown upside down I bought tickets for a CRUISE!! We're gonna be going on a cruise to the bahamas! I bought 10 tickets all of my family Laura, Vanessa and me I rented 4 rooms 1 for me and Laura 1 for Vanessa and Rydel 1 for Riker Rocky Ratliff and Ryland and 1 for my parents since we don't go back to "Austin & Ally" til the beginning of February we'll be there for two weeks I'm gonna tell them all on New Years Day and tomorrow's my 17th birthday! I'm excited to share it with Laura I walked in and changed out of this monkey suit and into shorts and a tank top and waited for Laura
