2 days later New Years Eve
Ross's POV
I slowly woke up and looked at the clock 8:30 AM I had to pick up the cruise tickets today I looked over and saw Laura peacefully sleeping I slowly and quietly got up and grabbed some clothes just in case she woke up I walked into the bathroom connected to my room and changed and brushed my teeth and hair I left the bathroom quietly and just as I was about to take my first step into the hallway I heard a groan coming from behind me I turned and found Laura waking up Crap she then woke up and tiredly said "Where are you going??" She was still too tired to be fully aware of everything so I walked to her end of the bed and kneeled next to her and said in a hushed tone "Nowhere you're dreaming go back to sleep" And I started softly humming a lullaby and with that she closed her tired eyes and drifted back to sleep I let out a quiet sigh of relieft and tip toed out of the house and got the tickets for the cruise we leave the day after R5 preforms at the Staples Center
End Of POV
1 hour later....
Ross: *comes in the house goes upstairs and sees Laura still asleep hides the tickets in his sock drawer*
Laura: *groans starts to wake up*
Ross: Hey there sleepyhead
Laura: *eyes still droopy* Hey *yawns*
Ross: You awake?? *chuckles and sits on the bed*
Laura: Mhm *rubs her eyes*
Ross: Happy New Year!
Laura: Happy New Year! *kisses him*
Ross: *kisses back*
Laura: *wraps her arms around his neck*
Ross: *moans a bit*
Laura: *pulls away smiling*
Ross: Wanna get breakfast?? I didn't stop to eat when I picked up the- *realizes what he was about to say eyes go wide immediatley lies* Medicine!
Laura: Why do you need medicine?? Are you sick?? *feels his forehead*
Ross: *gently swats her hand away* No I'm fine *lies* I just went to pick up cold medicine in case someone gets a cold
Laura: *believes it* Ohh ok
Ross: Let's go get some breakfast *about to leave*
Laura : Wait!
Ross: *turns around* What??
Laura: Carry me??
Ross: *chuckles* You can walk
Laura: *gives him puppy dog and sticks out her bottom lip says like a baby* Pwease?? *sniffs*
Ross: *turns away blocking her face with his hand says to himself* Don't look at the eyes don't look at the eyes
Laura: *still giving him the puppy dog eyes and sticking out her bottom lip says like a baby* Pwease Woss Pweety pwease??? *sniffs*
Ross: *glances at her gives in* Oh alright! Just stop doing that! *goes up to her and lifts her up bridal style and carries her downstairs*
Laura: Weeee!!!!! *laughs*
Ross: *puts her down in a chair in the kitchen*
Laura: Thank you Ross
Ross: *playfully rolls his eyes* Shut up
Laura: Hey!
Ross: Kidding! *starts making breakfast*
5 minutes later...
Laura: *smells the breakfast stomach growls*
Ross: *all the way at the stove hears it turns* Was that your stomach???
Laura: *nods*
Ross: Wow well luckily breakfast is almost done
2 minutes later..
Ross: *comes with 2 plates of full of food* Done! *puts a plate in front of Laura and sits next to her*
Laura: Thanks *about to take a bite*
Rydel, Riker Ratliff Rocky Ryland Mark and Stormie : *come in* We're back!
Ross and Laura: Hey!
Riker: Ooh! Breakfast! Thanks Laura! *takes her plate*
Laura: Hey!
Riker: *says with his mouth full* That was payback for laughing at me!
Rocky: Thanks for the breakfast bro! *takes Ross's plate and starts eating*
Ross: Hey!
Rocky: *says with his mouth full* What?
Ross: What was that for?
Rocky: *swallows* I was hungry there was food you usually eat when you're hungry duh!
Laura: *stomach growls louder than before holds her stomach*
Ross: *hears it eyes go wide* I'll make more *stands up turns on the oven and grabs a pan and puts it on the burner that's heating up turns* And if ANYONE *takes her breakfast away* I WILL hunt you down! Got it RIKER?!
Riker: *says with his mouth full* Whatever
5 minutes later everyone else went upstairs
Ross: *puts a plate in front of her and sits next to her*
Laura: *immediatley takes a huge bite just in case Riker came back says with her mouth full* Thanks
Ross: *giggles* You're welcome *starts eating*
2 hours later....
Ross and Laura: *watching TV*
Stormie: *comes in* Ross you gotta do your chores
Ross: *groans*
Stormie: Groan all you want you're not getting out of them *gives him a list of chores*
Ross: *reads it more paper unfolds eyes go wide*
Stormie: Get to it! *leaves*
Laura: I'll help
Ross: *eyes go wide* Look they may seem like chores to you bit they're like HELL!
Laura: They can't be that bad split the list in half and we'll do half
Ross: *splits it in half gives her the bottom half and keeps the top half*
Laura: Ok let's go *shuts the TV off*
