Pierce The Veil- Bulls In The Bronx

It's hard to be out on your own in this world. It's even harder when you have someone that means the world to you to look after. It's hard to look that little person in the eyes and tell them you can't give them a warm place to sleep in for the night. It's torture to live off the scraps of someone else when you know he deserves to eat like the prince he is every single day.

Blue Midnight had taken us in after we were banned from our old pack. I had been a rogue for two years before I stumbled into their territory. Well, I didn't stumble. My little brother Richie did. He had crossed into their territory and I had to go in and get him. Two high-rank wolves were in the midst of tearing him apart. Of course, me being his overprotective older sister, I attacked them with no regard of what would happen to me. It took Austin the beta, Carlton the gamma and their fighting leader Garret to get me to shift back. By then Richie was long gone.

Alpha Raymond Winters took me in impressed with the beautiful facials I had given his commanding officers. Free of charge of course. I brought Richie with me and we all found out why he had trespassed. Sandie, his cute little mate. She completely turned his life around better than I ever could.

"Zulu, Alpha wants to talk you," Austin shouted from the other side of the training room. My name is Zuluna. Everyone calls me Zulu.

"Do you know why?" I asked as he approached behind me.

"It's Fire Rose. They've made us a target. He wants the story now. Four years is enough to be putting off why you were exiled,"

I took a deep breath and lowering my head a little. I had been dreading the day that he would finally ask. After all these years, I think they may be right, it is time. He is my alpha and his Luna Daniel, my Luna. They have done nothing, but give my brother and me a home.

"Zulu," Luna Daniel smiled when I tapped the door since it had already been open.

"Luna," I smiled back trying not to make eye contact.

"Come in, Zulu. We have a lot to discuss," Alpha Raymond ordered waving me in.

I walked in putting my thoughts together. He motioned me to sit on the white leather couch across his love seat where he sat with Luna Daniel on his lap. They're a cute pair. Alpha Raymond is Six feet seven inches of pure terror while Luna Daniel is a Five feet four-inch cheerleader petite kind of chick. She kissed the alpha and excused herself. She winked at me before she left.

"It's time Zuluna," he sighed knowing that this conversation wasn't going to go well with either of us.

"Sir before I begin I'll ask one thing?" He nodded. "Do not see my brother differently than you do now. He was a pup then,"

"I promise you. Zulu, you've been the best hunter we've ever had for three years now and Richard is my best tracker. Nothing you ever say will change that,"

"Alpha Demario Heatherstone is our father," he flinched. "Out of mating. We came after his mate passed. My mother was killed in an attack shortly after my brother was born and we were placed in the packhouse. The alpha paid a lot of attention to my brother and I thought it was because he was his youngest son.

"The day we left Fire Stone was the day I found out my supposed father had been molesting my little brother. I tried to kill him. When I failed, he told everyone I wanted to kill him and my eldest brother Varco. He was next in line. He's the alpha now,"

He stared at me and I realized my wolf is showing. My breath had started up and my body shook with anger. My wolf and I had tried to put all of this passed us. We wanted nothing more than to let it go, but it still infuriates us both to know that our sire could do something like that.

Alpha Raymond was silent for a bit letting me take my time to calm down. I want, but can't get up and walk this off without challenging this man. I owe my life to him and I would be damned if I disrespect him in any kind of way.

"If I ask you to hunt down Alpha Demario what would you say?" I couldn't help the smile that crossed my face. The emotion that came over me was something I know and love.

"Sir, I would say it would be my honor to hunt down that perverted disgusting excuse of a wolf," he smiled at me and gave me the order.

I didn't need a reason from my alpha. I'd do it just to satisfy my need to kill my so-called father. I would do it without question because he is asking me to. This is my family now. This is where I found my home and I belong.

How long have I waited for an opportunity like this? How long had I trained to become what I have? My life had been stripped bare. My brother's life had been a series of scaring events in that house. None of us had known. None of them know. This is the first time it has been spoken outside of the three wolves that know this.

Tears came. I'm not sure why, but by the time I made it to my room they freely dripped off my chin and onto the vanity. A mix of emotions are waking up inside of me as I looked at the girl standing in front of me now.

"This is it," I said out loud. My eyes sparked amber. My wolf letting me know she's right there with me.

Make sure you don't miss this time. she growled.
