A Lonely Night (Pt. 1)

"We never found out what happened to Ally." Dinah uttered, painting her toes.

"Well she's not dead." Normani responded.

"How would you know?" Dinah asked her.

"I've texted her every so often this month." Normani answered nonchalantly.

"Wow, that's progress. I like that." Dinah winked.

"GIRRRRLSSS" Lauren seemed to scream from the top of her lungs.

"WHAT?!" Dinah matched her volume.

"Come here! I obviously need you."

"They only call you when they need something." Dinah rolled her eyes and joked.

The two of them followed Lauren's voice downstairs. When they reached the living room she was surprisingly very chipper.

"Lauren can you not smile? It's weird when you do." Dinah teased, sort-of.

"Shut up. I have good news...for all of us!" Lauren tried to calm herself.

"What's the news Lauren?" Normani asked.

"Well I'm glad you've asked. We're all going to Selena's house for dinner and then we're going to watch a movie and get to know each other...that'll be great right?"

"Selena's house? Is that where you went to her party?" Dinah seemed nervous.

"No, that was her cabana. Why haven't you said that's great yet?"

"That's great!" Dinah and Normani answered together.

"Good. We'll go at six." Lauren danced up the stairs to her room. 

"Way to go Dinah" Normani rolled her eyes.

"What?!" Dinah responded.

"Is that where you went to her party?" Normani mocked her, "You practically told her you were there."

"Keep your voice down." Dinah hissed.

Hours had gone by, Normani dryly texted back and forth with Ally, and Dinah had be binge-eating pizza rolls.

"Dinah, I'm pretty sure when we leave to have dinner at Selena's house food will be there." Normani teased and rolled her eyes.

"I'm a growing girl." She munched on.

"So wyd?"
Ally texted.

"Nothing at the moment, in a few Lauren's taking us to her girlfriend's for dinner." Normani replied.

"Girlfriend?"
Ally texted back rather quickly.

"Well Lauren is bi, Ally..."

"Well um, just text me when you're done or something."
Ally basically ended the conversation.

Normani thought that was weird.

Lauren and the girls left in her car and drove to the address Selena gave.

"I like this." Dinah seemed impressed.
"I bet you do." Normani played with her.

Lauren parked and she, Normani, and Dinah approached Selena's front door.
Selena answered the door before any of them rang the doorbell.

"Hello beautifuls." Selena said sweetly.

"Hi." The two responded while forcing smiles.

"Come in, come in." She stepped to the side and gestured at them.
