Omg I'm SO SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN FOREVER SCHOOL SUCKS AND LIFE SUCKS AND GAAHH! Ok here's your chapter now ;-;
Edit: yes I did change the ending. Enjoy the feels.Flowey lay on the floor, somehow coughing up blood. He was missing most of his petals, and looked like he had just crawled from a nuclear fallout only to be ravaged by a rabid pack of cats/dogs/rabbits.
He had managed to disappear underground just before being killed by Frisk, and had escaped to the safest place in the Underground- a room behind a secret locked door near Snowdin. There wasn't anything in there but a computer, a small box, a rope, and a dog sleeping in the middle of the room.
Flowey gasped for breath, something you wouldn't think a flower would need, and gathered the souls together. He was hoping to hide them in a safe place where they wouldn't be found for a long time.
Flowey looked around for a good place to hid them, but the only remotely "hidden" place was underneath the computer desk. Flowey sighed- he guessed it would have to do. He quickly guided all the souls under there, temporarily concealing them by hanging the rug from the floor off the edge of the desk. Just then, he heard a footstep.
"What?" You asked, "what are you talking about? How? What happened?"
The other souls looked a bit sad, but before anyone could say anything, there was a sudden shaking, like the feeling of an earthquake, and the souls were suddenly split apart back into their own different bubbles. Looking at the screen, you could see that Frisk had just defeated Flowey, expelling you and the other souls from his body. You nearly closed your eyes, dreading what would happen if Frisk caught you.
However, before anything could happen, they were scooped up and carried offscreen by an unlikely savior: the annoying dog.
You didn't see what happened to Flowey, as you and the other souls were carried off in record time to Snowdin, and a secret room behind a mysterious door. It placed you on a rug in the middle of the floor, and then fell asleep.
As soon as you were put down, you tried to go speak to the light blue soul, but they were crying too much too talk too, and you decided to leave them alone for a bit.
There you stayed, floating around for a bit and looking around the room, until Flowey showed up and put you all in jars. He placed you under the desk, and gave you an interesting price of information: he had taken all of the remaining living monsters and tried to tell them to hide, so at least Frisk would have a harder time killing more monsters- that is, if said monsters listened to him.
Flowey froze when he heard the sound of a footstep outside the door.he made an unnecessary shushing motion to the dog, and stayed frozen still for a few seconds. After hearing nothing, he quickly popped underground and cautiously poked his head up just outside the cave, peaking in to see who was there. He let out a small sigh, after seeing that it was only a small rabbit monster attempting to hide. Flowey edged a bit closer, wary of what they might do.
"H-hey there, friend," Flowey said, popping out of the ground a few feet away. The kit jumped a bit at his sudden appearance, huddling and shaking in terror in the opposite corner.
"Hey, it's okay, I'm nice. I won't hurt you," Flowey promised, attempting a little smile, "what are you doing here so far from New Home?"
"M-m-m-my m-mom, sh-she got, um, the-the human..." the little bunny didn't get far before they started sniffling, trying to hold back the tears.
"Shh, it's okay, Flowey's here, I'll help you," Flowey said, going to comfort them. Just then, something struck the kit, and they dissolved into dust. Flowey whirled around to face the entrance, only to be faced with Frisk standing there- but it wasn't quite Frisk. For the first time, they had a smile on their face, a creepy one that agent shivers down Flowey's stem. He couldn't see to many features of their face, but he caught a glimpse of two reddish glints coming from their eyes just before a knife came sailing at him.
He dodged, lunging to the right, but Frisk kept slashing at him. He ducked underground, popping up behind them. Lifting a root he tripped them up, but they grabbed him by a petal before he could escape. There was a long, tense moment where Flowey tried to wriggle it of their grasp, and he let out a small cry of pain when the petal was ripped off of him. He was about to run away when, for the first time, Frisk spoke.
"Where are you going... Asriel?" They said.
Flowey froze for a split second. But, that was all the time they needed to uproot him from the ground. Flowey trembled in fear, leaves and remaining petals quaking. Frisk stood there, softly petting Flowey. They ran their fingers along every rip, every tear, every faded burn mark and visible brown spot. Flowey squeezed his eyes shut, waiting for the end.
"Goodbye, Asriel," they said, before bringing the knife down in a slashing arc onto Flowey.
