It was finally Friday Dean had made it through the first week if his new school. He and Castiel were walking to science when John called. Dean's cell phone buzzed in his pocket and he slid the answer button across the screen.
"Hello?" Dean said
"Hey Dean I think we're going to have to stay here a little longer than I thought." John said a little worriedly
"Ok how come?" Dean asked suspiciously
"The Lycanthrope I'm hunting turned out to be a whole family. I'm calling in Bobby to help me." John answered in a stressed tone
"Ok how much longer do you think?"
"Probably a couple weeks maybe a month."
"Ok well I'll see you later then." He said turning off the phone and sticking it back in his pocket.
"Who was that?" Cas asked in his deep voice
"Just my dad. He says we'll be sticking around for a bit longer than expected."
"Oh." Cas said because he honestly didn't know what else to say.
"Hey do you want to come over?" Dean asked Cas not really sure why he asked
"Okay." Cas said in an overly excited voice
"Okay I'll see you after school I'll drive." Dean said
"You can drive?" Cas asked
"Yeah I'm older for being a freshman." Dean lied he was only fifteen but he had a fake ID that said other wise.
"Okay." Cas said as they entered the classroom
The entire class he couldn't focus on anything other than Castiel. Even when he tried to pay attention it turned into something about his friend. Genes blue eyes are a genetic mutation, mutation Cas's eyes don't seem like a mutation to me. It was driving Dean crazy he was trying his best to pay attention but always, always it turned into something about Castiel.
It was weird Dean never thought he was gay but now he seemed to feel more for Castiel than wanting to just be friends. 'Maybe I'm bi.' he thought. well it didn't matter he liked Cas and Cas was always looking at him he thought Cas probably like him too. Cas, Cas, Cas. Cas was the only thing he could think about. Dean had no idea what was going on in science.
"Dean?" Cas asked "Are you okay?"
"Yeah why wouldn't I be?"
"You just seem a little out of it." Cas replied
"Oh yeah I don't know science is just a bit boring to me I guess I was day dreaming." Dean explained
