Chapter 9

I need your help." Cas pleaded

"What do you need?" Gabriel asked worried about his little brother.

"I need you to bring Dean Winchester back." Cas said looking his brother straight in the eyes.

"From the dead?"

"Yes from the dead." Cas said annoyed

"Does he know we are Angels?" Gabriel asked

"Yes, so?" Cas said

"So i'll have to wipe his and his family's memory of you." Gabriel said

"What!? No you can't do that." Castiel yelled

"I have to Cas, it's either that or your little boyfriend stays dead." Gabriel concluded

"Uh... There must be some other..."

"There's not!" Gabriel said

"Fine so it as long as he's back alive and healthy." Cas finally agreed

Castiel and Gabriel flew back to the barn where Dean's cold body lay. Gabriel touched two fingers to Dean's stone cold forehead and closed his eyes. He wiped away all his memories of Castiel and put in new fake ones to fill the voids. Then he brought Dean back to life assuring Castiel that he would wake in a few hours. Afterwards they flew back to Dean's apartment brought Dean home and laid him in his bed. Gabriel then erased Castiel from John, Sam, Adam and Charlie's minds again filling the voids with new fake memories.

When they had finished the job they went back home. Castiel locked himself in his bedroom and cried for hours upset with everything that had happened. He would have to go to school tomorrow and Dean wouldn't remember him at all. Castiel would have to start all over again and this time not tell the Winchesters about his being an Angel. A secret he didn't want to keep from Dean but now knew he had to.
