Highschool love: A Destiel Fanfic

Chapter 7

"Hey Sammy Dad's coming back today." Dean said into his phone "He's going to take us to go kill the last Lycanthrope."

"Awesome!!!" Sam cheered "Wait are Adam and Charlie coming?"

"No." Dean replied

"Yes" Sam almost shouted

"Ok talk to ya later Sammy." Dean said

"Ok bye." Sam said ending the call

Dean clicked his cell phone off and turned looking up from his cell phone to see Castiel looking at him. "Hey Cas" Dean said sliding his phone back into his pocket.

"Does this mean your leaving soon?" Cas asked sadly

"I don't know." Dean replied

Castiel's gaze dropped to the floor. Dean put two fingers underneath Castiel's chin and brought his head up to kiss him. A weak sad smile crept up on Castiel's face. Returning the smile Dean kissed him again.

"It's ok Cas I'm not leaving yet." Dean told Castiel with another weak sad smile.

Dean knew that since he was going along to kill the last lycanthrope that the hunt would soon be over and his father would find a new hunt. Meaning they would be moving soon.

"Could I come with you on your hunt?" Cas asked

"I don't know Cas my dad doesn't like to work with people he doesn't know." Dean replied

"Okay." Cas said sadly

"I'm sorry Cas." Dean apologized

"It's ok Dean." Cas said

Castiel wasn't going to take no as an answer though. He had to make sure Dean was safe. Castiel came up with a plan so that he go with the Winchesters without Dean's father finding. To go with them Castiel would make himself invisible so that they wouldn't know he was with them.

John Winchester packed the back of his Impala with silver knives and guns with silver bullets. The only thing that can kill a lycanthrope is silver. John doesn't really know why it's the only thing that can kill them it just is.

"Come on boys lets go." John called out to Sam and Dean.

"Coming Dad!" Sam yelled

"Yeah coming" Dean yelled after Sam

The three Winchesters got in the car leaving Adam and Charlie by themselves. Hoping the two younger Winchesters didn't get in a fight and kill each other John started the car. Dean rode shotgun and Sam sat in the back. Little did they know Castiel was already at their destination.

Castiel appeared in a small barn where the supposed lycanthrope lived. Walking into the barn he saw a man in tattered clothing sitting in the corner. The man's teeth were sharp and jagged and his eyes were big and pearly white. Castiel could kill the creature right then but then Dean would find out what he was up to and he didn't want to anger him.

He heard the roar of the Impala outside of the barn and quickly made sure that he was invisible. John, Sam, and Dean walked in and the man in the corner growled a nasty snarl at them. The lycanthrope got up and John shot at it but it was faster and dodged the silver bullet.

The man in tattered clothes ran quickly to the other side of the room and let out another nasty snarl. Dean threw a knife at the creature slicing the edge of the grey ripped shirt it wore barely missing the skin. The creature let out a loud menacing noise. It charged toward Sam and Castiel ran towards it. Just then Dean jumped in front of his little brother and the lycanthrope sliced into his chest.

John yelled and shot the creature down but not before it ripped into Deans chest again. Castiel had tried to get to Dean but the creature somehow was much faster than him. Castiel turned off his invisibility and yelled loudly. John, and Sam were shocked and John tried to shoot at Castiel but missed.

"Dean!!!" Castiel screamed as loud as his human vessels lungs would allow him too.
