BOOM!! The rain poured and thunder struck the sky. I whimpered softly and curled into a ball. I hate thunderstorms. Not that I'd ever admit it.

I'm a brave lion. I'm not scared. It's only a little rain. Dang...if anyone knew that I, Kyoya Tategami, am afraid of storms... I'd never hear the end of it!

Lightning flashed across the sky and I squeezed my eyes shut. It'll all be okay, Kyoya. Just ignore it. Pretend it isn't happening.

BANG! More thunder. That's it! I jumped up from my bed and opened the door and peeked into the dark hall. I then made my way down the hall, not sure where to go. "Maybe someone's awake..." I said quietly. Just as I said that, another clap of thunder echoed through the house and I let myself fall to my knees, "Ahh!" I cried out.

The door beside me opened to reveal a shirtless Tsubasa. "Kyoya? What's wrong?" He asked, crouching beside me.

"Nng-Nothing! I'm fine," I hurriedly got to my feet.

Tsubasa stood in front of me. "You're afraid of the storm," He stated.

"Well, I wouldn't go that far," I spluttered.

He knew I was lying, I could tell. "Come inside my room. You seek company, do you not?" Tsubasa raised a brow.

I stood still for moment and then slowly walked into his room. It was a nice room and Tsubasa followed me, grinning softly. "You sure that it's okay if I'm here? I'm not bothering you or anything?" I asked.

"You aren't bothering me, Kyoya. Not at all. Please, sit," Tsubasa motioned to the bed. "I wasn't asleep anyway."

I sat down on his bed and he sat in a swivel chair opposite of me. "So, Tsubasa...I've never seen your room before. It's really cool," I said.

"Thank you," He replied. That was it. He just looked at me.

I tried again, "So, you said that you were already up?"

"Yes," He replied.

"What were you doing?" I asked curiously.

"Drawing," Tsubasa said, his eyes raking over my face.

"Oh, um, what were you drawing?" I asked. We're getting somewhere...

"Things," He shrugged.

"You aren't going to tell me, are you?" I sighed.

"Perhaps... Maybe later," And he continued to study me.

"Wh-why are you staring at me?" I asked him, shifting slightly.

His cheeks tinted. "Erm..my apologies. I did not intend to stare," He said, pushing a lock of silver hair out of his eyes.

I smiled a bit, "It's okay, Tsubasa," I said. Then I wondered something. "Tsubasa..?"

"Yes, Kyoya?" Tsubasa asked, looking into my eyes.

"You, um... Can you not tell anyone that I don't like storms?" I asked.

He chuckled and leaned back in the chair. "Of course," He said. "Your secret is safe with me."

I smiled, "Thanks, Tsubasa," I said and glanced at the clock. It was eleven thirty two.

"The storm probably won't let up until morning," Tsubasa spoke softly. "You're welcome to stay here, Kyoya."

"But...there's only one bed," I blushed.
