I was walking down the sidewalk of Metal City with my friend Takanosuke. Yes, I consider us friends. Within my mind anyway...

Anyway, we were walking along the sidewalk when he started to talk. "I'm hungry. I could really go for a burger. Hey, why don't we go to that place Benkei Hanawa runs?"

I smirked. "You mean, Bull Burger?" I asked.

"Yeah! That place!" Takanosuke smiled.

He's so cute... Or just stupid. Whatever, I don't care. "Sure. It's up ahead, isn't it?" I asked.

"Yup! And best of all, that's where Zyro Kurogane and his friends hang out! Wouldn't it be great to see Zyro?" He sighed happily.

I stuffed my hands in my coat pockets. It's been like this all day long. Zyro this and Zyro that! What's so great about Zyro anyway? Personally, he's a good blader, but he seems annoying. Always talking about happiness. Maybe he's on happy pills...

"Sakyo? Are you listening?" Takanosuke stopped walking.

I frowned, stopping, too. "Sorry, what?"

Takanosuke shook his head. "Never mind. Hey! There it is! Come on!" He grabbed my arm and pulled me along.

I blushed slightly. Okay, yes, I kind of like Takanosuke... But I can never tell him. Ever. The blush didn't leave my cheeks as he opened the door and pulled me along inside.

"Takanosuke! Sakyo!" Zyro's voice reached my ears. "Hey...are you...blushing?" He asked loudly. Shinobu, Ren, Kite, Eight, Maru, and even Takanosuke looked at me.

"No," I growled, taking my arm from Takanosuke and glaring at Zyro. "What's it to you, Kurogane?"

"Haha! A sense of humor as always, Sakyo!" Zyro laughed, "So, are you guys here to eat?"

Takanosuke smiled at Zyro. "Yeah! And we came to see you guys!" He chirped.

Zyro smiled back. "Well, let's all sit and talk. I'll get you some burgers!" He walked away.

Takanosuke led me to a table with four chairs. We sat down on the same side and I placed my hands on the table, looking at my hands. "Hey, Sakyo?" Takanosuke asked.

"Hm?" I lifted my head and looked at him. His tousled blonde hair, his blue eyes...

"Are you okay? You've been acting strange all day." He frowned, clasping his hands together on the table.

Yeah? Well you've been talking about Zyro all day. "Oh. I'm fine.." I said, shrugging.

"I don't think that you are. You can't lie to me, Sakyo. Now-" Takanosuke was interrupted by Zyro as he set down two treys in front of us.

"Here you guys, go!" Zyro smiled, sitting down opposite of Takanosuke.

"Thank you, Zyro!" Takanosuke smiled and they started talking about their beys and battling techniques.

I sat silent, eating slowly. When I'd finished, I stood and walked across the room, tossing my trash in the trash bin. I sighed as I set my trey on top. I wonder if Takanosuke likes Zyro? I would hope not. I guess that would explain why he talks about Zyro nonstop. But...I like Takanosuke...I want him as mine! Not Zyro's! It's not fair! Why can't Takanosuke just like me? I-

"Hey, Sakyo," Ren said from beside me. Maru was standing next to her.

"Oh...hey," I nodded, looking between the two.
