"Thanks for treating me to dinner, it was so nice finally catching up again." I said, the cold nipping at my cheeks.
"Yeah, it was. We should do it again some time. Sorry it ended up being so late, get home safe ok?" My old childhood friend, Eunwoo, said back.
I nodded and walked to my car, getting in quickly as the cold was getting to me. I probably should have worn a jacket with sleeves. I cursed myself for not doing so.

I blasted the heater as I got in. I glanced at the time. Holy shit, its already 12:40 AM, he wasn't lying when he said it was late - I thought.
I started to drive back home, some music playing softly in the background. My body finally warmed up as I drove the empty streets back to my apartment.
As I was turning a corner, just about half way to my apartment, I saw a figure standing next to the street lamp, rubbing their arms to keep warm.
Thats strange.. I thought to myself. As I drove closer, I saw it was a young man, not much older than myself. His eyes were wandering the streets, like looking for someone. Maybe they were suppose to pick him up. I drove past him, he shortly glanced at my car with a wishful expression. It seemed he had been out there a while.
After a few short moments, I halted my car. This man shouldn't be out here at this hour in this cold - I told myself.
I turned my car around pulling up next to where he was standing. I rolled down my window, the cold filling my car once more.
"Hey.." I said cautiously. His eyes met mine, and I saw the features of his face clearly for the first time. He was quite beautiful to be honest. "Do you by any chance need a ride? It's late, and not to mention, freezing out."

He, too, hesitated for a moment, clearly analyzing my intentions. He slowly started to speak, almost as if frozen.
"No, no, I don't want to trouble you miss. However, if you have your phone on you, would you mind calling me a taxi? My phone shut off from the cold." He finally said.
