"Wake up baby~" I heard a soft voice interrupt my dreams as I drifted back to reality.

"Merry Christmas Y/N" Jimin said to me before leaning in and kissing my forehead. My heart fluttered. He leaned back as his beautiful eyes met mine again. I couldn't help but stare.. It all still felt so surreal.
It was just a few short weeks ago that I fretted spending the holiday season alone. It was always such a pain, every year, to watch as people flaunted their love during this time of the year. Meanwhile, it felt like I was always alone, drinking too much hot chocolate, watching too many holiday movies on repeat, with too many blankets stacked on top of me.
I guess it makes sense what they say, that people come into your life when you least expect them. Thats what happened to me after all.
It was only the beginning of November and Christmas was already everywhere to be seen. I mean everything was covered in holiday related things. At the time, you had felt like it was meant to tease you. Around every corner, every turn you made, Christmas was there.

You usually loved being in the town center. There was nothing better than a calming book amidst the old scenic buildings and some earphones stuffed in both ears to drown out the world. But this time of year it was like the number of couples multiplies ten fold.
So, you took your books and music else where. To be more specific: the park on the far side of town. The one few people visited because it didn't have a lake or a playground. But the browning trees made you feel right at home with the still existing fall atmosphere.
