"Are you almost done?" I whined as I looked at Taylor, her nose stuffed in her book.
"yeah just give me five more minutes" She mumbled. I sighed heavily, slouching into the couch. "You said that two hours ago" I mumbled, but as usual she was too busy with her book to even notice. I tapped my fingers against my knee, getting more and more aggravated by the minute. "Forget it" I huffed before storming up towards the bedroom, slamming the door shut. I laid down on the bed, looking at my phone. Okay maybe I went a little over board but I couldn't help it. Alicia was my girlfriend and I wanted her to pay attention to me. After scrolling through twitter for a few minutes, I heard a soft knock on the door before it creaked open, soft footsteps making it's way over to the bed."Ross, please talk to me" Taylor said poking my side, but I just continued to scroll through twitter, ignoring her pleading. I heard her sigh before she walked out, shutting the door behind her. I heard the sound of keys rattling before the front door opened and closed.
Great! I kept bugging her for attention and when I finally got it, I just pushed her away!
I sighed laying over, turning the t.v on to watch some C.S.I.~~~
About an hour later, I heard Taylor come back inside, making her way up the stairs.
She walked in with a tray of two bowls of popcorn, two coke cans ,and a dvd case. She sat the tray on the night stand next to the bed before sitting down. I looked over at her and she gave me a small smile with a wave. I felt terrible. "Come here" I said opening my arms, not being able to take it any longer. "I'm sorry Ross, I should have stopped reading when I first promised it." She mumbled into my chest. "No I'm sorry. I went overboard and took the whole situation out of proportion." I said before kissing the top of her head."I bought Romeo and Juliet!" She said picking up the case. "you're actually going to watch it?" I asked raising my eyebrow. When I had first gotten with Taylor, she said she figured the movie would be long and boring so she never gave it a shot. "It's the least I owe you" She said with a shrug before getting up and putting the disk in the dvd player. She turned the lights off before handing me my bowl of popcorn. Only five minutes later into the movie, she started giggling. "What?" I asked looking down at her. "You were jealous of a book" She giggled. "Shut up! I was not I was just-" "You were jealous of a book" She said giggling once again. She quickly pecked my lips. "You're so cute Ross" She said looking up at me with those sparkling eyes. "And you're beautiful" I mumbled before leaning down, placing my lips against hers.
