Finally it was your boyfriend Ross' birthday. Though you just had spent Christmas with his family you wanted to surprise him on his birthday as well. You smiled as you dressed in something cute and casual. Because you couldn't drive you waited for Riker to come and get you. Once he got there, you practically ran out to his car.
"Wow you aren't excited at all are you Nasya?" He said as he laughed backing out of your driveway. You just glared at him jokingly as you buckled in. "No. Not at all Riker. I just get to surprise my boyfriend, Ross." You said as you both laughed. You two talked a little bit more before Riker drove into their driveway.
"Okay so here's the plan. I'm going to walk in and in like 20 minutes, just walk on in with this." he handed you a big bunch of birthday stuff. "It'll cover you from Ross so when you let them go, you just smile and see his reaction." You smiled as you looked at everything. There were balloons, streamers, confetti, and so much other things. You smiled as you looked over at Riker as he got out. "Remember 20 minutes or so." he said as he smiled and shut his car door. He went to his trunk and grabbed Ross' birthday cake and then walked into his house.
20 minutes couldn't have gone by slower. As soon as you got a text from Rydel signaling to you that it was okay to come in you could barely contain your excitement. You grabbed everything you were supposed to grab as you walked over to the door. Rydel was there and opened the door. She then led you over to their living room. You could hear Ross talking with Mark and Stormie.
"Wow. Mom and Dad, you didn't need to get me that many balloons, you know I only turned 18." he said as he laughed. Rydel giggled as she tapped your arm. You released everything and smiled over in Ross' direction as you stood there. "Happy Birthday Ross!" you said as you laughed. Ross gasped as he jumped off the couch and ran over and swept you into his arms. He swung you around as everyone laughed at his reaction. "Oh my god! Babe, I thought you were busy today?!" he said as he held you by your sides.
"Nope. I wanted to surprise you!"
"Well I've been surprised! Thanks babe. This is the best present ever Nasya." he said as he kissed you sweetly. You heard awes and ews coming from his siblings as you two started laughing. You then spent the rest of the day with your amazing boyfriend and his family.
